I'm wise to you slimshady and ChuckF and both of you snakes in the grass can just forget about snatching my title 'cause it ain't gonna happen. Oh and Chuck, I've particularly got it in for you because I was cool about you registering here just to play, but specifically told you to back off of my territory.

That's cool. There's no problem here. I rule and y'all drool. That's the way it is and it's the way it's gonna stay.

How come liv's 1.8 million 'only' took 1619 seconds but she took almost twice that long to score the second place 1.3 million?

How does that Tetris scoring work?

I suspect you high scorers must cheat somehow. Maybe run it on a really slow computer, so that the game never really speeds up much. I found the dodge of rapidly pressing the 'p' key to slow it down, but I don't like the flickering that creates...

Anyway, right now my scores are lousy, but once I've found the secret, that tetris crown will be mine!

It's because I put it on pause for a while when I was watching Carnivale, Mr. Suspishy McParanoia.

The secret is...... to get tetrises! It took me over an hour to get that 5.7 million in the mu.nu. There was no special cheating with the p key, I never even knew about that :giggle:

Tetrises, tetrises, tetrises. Get about a hundred of them, that's a good start

It also helps explain some time differences, since getting 1 million with 40 tetrises will take less time than 1 million with 10 tetrises.

I feel your pain, liv (although you covered it pretty well in your post). I lost my Simon title just last night :(
