I can't remember what the other thread was where I was bitching about the heat in the winter-time (the counterpoint to the snow thread) so here's a new one.
Been in the high 80s all week month season. It cooled off for about a day this week, and everybody was like "OMG winter?!" but then the news was all "it will warm up again by the weekend" and it totally did.

Supposed to get up to 56° F today. Still fall, definitely.

Actually I'm bitching about the heat. What's the point of having such exquisite sweater-puppies if they never see the inside of a sweater?

I cant complain, its been an unusually warm fall around here, been hovering around freezing the last few weeks, with a couple light dustings of snow.
the weather network is calling for +5 tomorrow cooling to -10 tuesday night, and it looks like winter will oficially hit wednessday as they're calling for up to 10cm of snow (4 ")
I cant wait for the snow, I got my 3 year old nephew a tobagan for his birthday last week.... I dont think he knows what it is, but that snow will fix the problem.

'Course, that lasted about a nanosecond and reverted the interminable clear, deep blue sky and bright sunshine by 10a. :bored:

I had a kitchen cabinet contractor scheduled to come and measure for quote on my kitchen remodel. She was coming at 11a. So I had to get up at 8:30a in order to hide the fur dunes and get enough crap off the horizontal surfaces so that she could measure them.
The great thing is my house is clean(ish) now! Though I am a leeeetle bit tired.

Hot enough for ya? Ya, sure, you betcha. It were roasting hot in Casa del Inlaws. I think they were roasting peppers using the furnace. Either that or it was because it was below 70:degrees:F outside.

I'm back from Chicago, and let me just say, it's a teensy bit warmer here. I keep seeing people running around in shorts and flip-flops and I want to shout, "Put on some damn clothes! It's December for chrissakes!"

Nope, it was clear and sunny, but I saw a little bit of leftover snow on the ground in Woodstock.

It only got up to 45:degrees:F today, and only supposed to rise to 48:degrees: tomorrow, but Tuesday, ahead of a cold front, it's supposed to get up into the upper 60s, accompanied by high fire danger.

It was so warm when I left my house today that I didn't grab a sweatshirt or anything (even though I totally know better). When I walked to my car after class my teeth were chattering. The thermometer on my car said it was 60 degrees! That's indecent! :shiver:
I wore flip-flops today.
Mom was back in Chicago today (changing planes on the way to Ottawa and got delayed due to bad weather in both cities) and she said there is snow everywhere. I just missed it! I don't know if that's good or bad, but I'm going with good.

The temp fluctuation here in the Humidston area is freaking ridiculous. In the past couple of weeks, we've had lows around 35:degrees: (with a rather vicious wind-chill), and highs at 80:degrees: (with the usual accompaniment of humidity). A 45-degree range in a matter of days. I would seriously trade solid weeks of freezing temps for this crap. It's impossible to get acclimatized to any temperature when it changes so rapidly. :mutter:

Yep, got to love it.....I think your winter is pretty much over down there. My parents are still in shock over the 3 inches of snow they received.
I advise my parents to visit Tulsa in the summer, I would never be able to keep them warm enough in the winter. They keep there home a lovely 75 F year round. :glare:

Really, though, your quickness to seriously label me a pedophile (in the clinical sense as opposed to absurdly broad senses that just about everyone could fit into) does an injustice for people who work to diagnose real deviants. Being gutsy enough to admit attraction to, say, 13 year olds vs. being attracted to 3 year olds are figurative worlds apart.
