Brian -- the creator of many of our custom hacks -- will be upgrading the forum software tomorrow from version 3.01 to 3.06. This upgrade will fix a couple of annoying little things as well as plug a wee security hole. While he's at it, he will be installing his very cool, very fancy picture gallery software.
He has told us to expect around 15 minutes of downtime, which is why we decided to go ahead with the upgrade tomorrow instead of giving y'all more advanced warning. Hopefully, you won't even notice it happened. Otherwise, you can always spend the downtime thinking of clever categories for our gallery.

:chin: That link takes me to another forum. Is it supposed to do that? Do I have to register there as well?

All indications are that the upgrade was a success.
If the forum doesn't meltdown overnight, we'll know for sure.
We'll reveal the photo gallery once we've tweaked it. :)

Naw, Ex-zombie. That's just Brian's site. He's the creator of vB Advanced (our home page) and vB Gallery (the gallery software). I linked Seven to it so she could see the feature list.
Meanwhile, :woohoo: and :thankee: to Brian for the upgrade and install.

Okey dokey. The basic gallery is up. All it needs now is actual pictures. :giggle:
The Members Gallery creates an individual category for you as soon as you upload a pic. From there on in, you can create your own subcats and even choose whether to allow other people to upload to your gallery.
The entire gallery is currently only viewable by registered users, so we've put it on the navbar under "Member Options".
Go nuts (http://www.freethought-forum.com/forum/gallery/index.php?). :)

I've tried, Crumb.
I'm getting this:
An error occurred while attempting to create a folder for your files. If the problem persists, please notify the webmaster
Then again...I'm a Mow-Ron.

Replies don't seem to be showing up. I've checked the permissions and settings and they're all right, afaics. Meanwhile, Tom, I think this is the unregistered fix (http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showpost.php?p=30031&postcount=14), and another related bug fix (http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showpost.php?p=30045&postcount=16).

Maybe this (http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4795) or this (http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4760) will fix the directory weirdness in Links.
Yay! we gots a neat, new gallery!
