Male and Female Inmates Desire Penpals (http://www.meet-an-inmate.com/)
Lonely Attractive Inmates in the USA Seek Penpals
Can you imagine what it must be like for attractive men and women to be without companionship? These incarcerated female and male inmates are paying a price for crimes they have committed. These inmates are very real and are seeking you! Why not give it a try? Make the day of a lonely inmate! He/She will get excited when his/her name is called to receive a letter from you. Just think how lonely it must feel at mail call to never hear your name, especially after being locked up for several years and family and friends have deserted you. All of these prisoners behind bars have written me a letter requesting to be listed. It can be a lot of fun communicating with these individuals. Don't be shy, give it a try!
Male and female inmates do not have access to a computer or the Internet so all correspondence will be through the U.S. Mail. I ask that you treat these attractive male and female inmates with some dignity and respect. After all, these individuals are human beings, have feelings, and many of them want to straighten out their lives! Let's give them a reason to hope for a better future.
Smilin, are you in jail or something?

This hits a little close to home, since #1 Dot's baby-daddy is custody of the state corrections system and writes regularly.

Some of us have corresponded with inmates.
Heck, with 2 million Americans in custody, that's a fair amount of people.
Most of the prisoners will be released at some point, so excluding them from society is temporary.
This is a nice, not religious non-profit that visits inmates.

If it was a family memeber, or someone I knew prior to incarseration it become a differnt matter to me, I would write them, i would likely visit them.
but writing to a complete stranger by mail would require giving them my return adress. and the only thing I know about said persons is that they are in prison. this simply dose not sit well with me.

That's why people use Post office boxes.
There is also general delivery.
On the inter-webs, it's pretty easy to look up someone's criminal history here.
I think that site looks sleazy, that's why I posted the group I know about.

For the last 3 years, I've been in 23 hour lockdown in a super max prison. So I've got lots of time on my hands to be your penpal! I'm a very open minded person, and I don't discriminate against color, race, religion, or gender. I'm looking for some great people to help me pass this 37 years I've got ahead of me. So if you're the one... I'm waiting! I will respond to all mail, and am looking forward to your letter. You can also send your letter through J-pay.com, but don't forget to send your return address.

For far faster service, you can all PM me your home addresses, credit card numbers, social security numbers, and anything else you think will make our "friendship" work.
There is a reason these guys are in prison, and a reason why sheep tend to wolves.
Or as a friend of mine would quip: "Try to do good and bugger an orphan."

It was voted one of the top ten most useless websites by MSN....
I found it interesting to look at all the pictures and to read the individual postings of all the inmates.
But I'm quirky like that. Behind each one of those faces and each one of those profiles is a person with a story.

I get to read a lot of those stories, up close and personal.

Are you a counselor?

I imagine there are quite a few victims behind those stories. . . .
