I'll be in the field tomorrow. I won't have internet access except my iPhone. I just wanted to say good bye to all my good friends here.

Wish me luck and Godspeed!

Not to break up the homosocial bonding or anything, but what field are you going into?

Watser?

I'm really just going camping. I've been out of the military long enough now that my inactive reserves commitment is even up.

It just sounds sooo much cooler to call it "the field"

Aww, letdown. I was hoping for an archaeological dig. :sadcheer:

I plan to start the fire with a cotton ball if it makes you feel any better.

Hey, that's pretty cool. Not at the archaeological dig level, of course, but pretty cool nonetheless.

My cousin, who is also a military wife and still getting used to all the lingo, calls it "the fields". Makes the hubby twitch everytime. :giggle:
