So, if I'm in the FF in two different windows (or tabs in Firefox), when someone uses the "Who's Online" link...where do I turn up?

Good question. I'm not really sure. I imagine it would depend on when the Who's Online link had refreshed and which page was more recently loaded when it did, but I'm just talking out of my ass there.

So, there's very little chance that I'd freak someone out by appearing in two places at the same time, thereby forcing them to conclude that I may be some type of god or highly-advanced alien create capable of bending reality?

Hehe... you definitely won't show up in two places at the same time.
Not talking out of my ass but certainly no expert, Who's Online features track and report a user's last click.

Ask Dragar about the bending reality thing. He's all quantum mechanicsy and shit. I bet he can hook you up.

You'll show up on the list as viewing whatever you're looking at but it takes time to update the who's online so if you're viewing a forum in one tab and then switch to the who's online list immediately, you'll see yourself as viewing the previous forum.
I know...cuz I've tried it :P

that is cool
but that only proves to yourself that you have godlike reality bending powers, I think that we are looking for something that will impress the locals

I don't show up online. I post invisibly. Only the admins can likely see me.

Am I the only one who read the o.p. and thought, "I dunno. Try it!"
