Story here (http://www.democratandchronicle.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050224/LIVING/502240334/1032).
Ladies, tired of strangers trying to touch your belly or ask if you're finding out the gender of your baby? Well, then http://www.dueandsprout.com/ has got a shirt just for you!
Here's a line sheet (http://www.dueandsprout.com/files/LineSheet.pdf) (.pdf format).
:D
I thought they were kind of clever. I'm curious what the women here who've had kids think about them.

I was only 21 when I was pregnant, and I looked like a kid. Plus, I swelled up so bad I couldn't get my wedding ring back on. So all I got scandalized whispering noises, various chicken-like sounds, and hairy eyeballs. Once, I was even used as a "teachable moment" when some woman in the grocery store pointed at me and used me as a counterexample for her approximately 12 year old daughter. I heard the whole lecture about how fucked up I was.
I had exactly one stranger in the whole duration of my pregnancy ask me questions like that, and at that point, I appreciated that he wasn't giving me shit. I let him touch my belly, even.

I don't remember being too annoyed at those questions-- it's just conversation. But those shirts are cute.
One time in my life I asked another woman a question about her baby when I was a sales clerk in the lingerie department -- bad bad bad-- she wasn't pregers. :blush3: :silenced:

One of my blog-friends has just complained about a day of belly-touching and annoying talk. I sent her the link to this.

Dear AspenMama,
Should I ever become one of the lucky few here who have met you in person, let me tell you now and save us both the embarrassment: I am NOT pregnant.
You're welcome. :giggles:
