Is there a term for this? I was thinking about the number 33 in particular. It is such an awesome number with 3 and 11 as factors. and both the digits are one of the factors.

Plus there are only 33 more days til I see my baby.

The two of you must be exchanging an awful lot of RSA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSA)-encrypted e-mails.

I was expecting something like "my heart only has one factor: ES".

I didn't get hooked in like the quantum theory thread title. Too bad, so sad, sucks to be you.

Just wait five more days, and then you'll have a perfect number (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perfect_number) of days remaining.

You're not counting 33 and 1 as factors? Usually it's a prime number that only has two factors, 1 and itself.

I do like the first few multiples of 11. They're so repeaty.

The smallest Amicable Pair (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amicable_number) of numbers is {220, 284}.

This is because the only factors of 220 are 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, 11, 20, 22, 44, 55 and 110, which sum to 284.

Similarly, the only factors of 284 are 1, 2, 4, 71, and 142, which sum to 220.

Friends and lovers with mathematical minds have sometimes used amicable number pairs as symbols of their affection - for example each wearing a gold ring on which one of the pair of numbers has been stamped.
