I'm not sure, actually. There's the usual I played it for days on end thing, but as far as the time it took me to reach the scores, I don't really know. Once I'm in the Tetris zone, I seriously lose all concept of time.

Well actually, a hole in one on every hole would beat my score by 12! And there seems to be some holes you just can't get a hole in one, though I might be missing something. I think it too me a few days of playing regularily to beat his score. :)

I admit to cheating on the Simon thing. :blush: If you're doing it without cheating, then you have my respect. :bow: I was writing the colours down (writing them in a text box on the computer screen actually) and yes, it was incredibly tedious, and that's why I stopped at 62. Did you know you can use the keyboard in Simon? I find I'm less likely to make a mistake pressing the red, yellow, blue and green keys than when I'm moving and clicking the mouse.

I have adopted your tetrises strategy to score faster at Tetris. One of the reasons I chose to go for the big score at mu.nu, is that it doesn't record the embarrassingly long period of time that my game took, especially as I took rest breaks every five minutes or so. I guess it was about an hour and a half's actual playing time, spread over a two and a half hour period. The game doesn't seem to get any harder once you're past the first few levels, and it feels as though I could carry on forever, boredom permitting. The scores seem to go up exponentially with the number of levels completed though, so it doesn't take anywhere near as long to get the second five million, compared to the first one.

I did not cheat on simon, that was legitimate, totally legitimate! I can't believe you cheated! :D I was thinking "Damn, that ceptimus is good, we could be going back and forth for a while on this." But thanks for the respect, because I was definitely not cheating. I tend to remember it in chunks of 5,6 and 7 depending on what the pattern is that comes up.

Ah, I see. I thought maybe you were finding that the mu.nu tetris was slower or something, and that's why you chose to play it first and practice. I haven't played it in quite a while, so I couldn't remember if it was any easier. Still, breaks or no breaks, 10,000,000+ is one hell of a score!

Oh, and I agree, both here and at the mu.nu, it seems like it doesn't get any faster after a certain point and when I got over 5,000,000 I also felt like I could just go forever, or until I was just too bored.

Hey Adam! My wife likes to play tetris and snake a lot. But on a software game.She thinks she is the champion of the world.

We are having fun Adam. Life in our home is as usual, like a rollercoaster. Our kids are teenagers now. Lot of fun. I feel younger every year it pass.

I was a long-reigning champ of Balloon Hunter, but now every time I take my title back, I end up losing it again rather quickly. Still, on the high score list, the only spots in the top 54 places I don't hold currently are 1, 3, 5, 6, and 26.

I also briefly held the Asteroids 2K3 title, and have had some good runs at it, but haven't quite managed to get it back yet.

That is correct, Moose. Sometimes, it's worth sacrificing a chicken to get the double. They're the ones that say, "Bonus" on them.

It's a little flakey about taking scores, not sure why though.
