I'm not musically inclined. I'd have trouble playing a triangle. Srs.

But I can't get enough of the Tone Matrix (http://lab.andre-michelle.com/tonematrix).

It's sweet and simple; though I will caution against activating too many cells. The repetitions will annoy the faint of will.

When I just randomly drag my mouse across it a few times, I get music that reminds me of the background music in all those educational videos about cells and shit. The stuff that's playing while you watch 'em divide.

I guess it's been too long since I played MoO for that to be fresh in my mind.

I also discovered that if you light them all up (preferably with the sound down) some really cool visual stuff happens, reminds me a bit of Conway's Life.

They added the Audiotool now where you can record and share.

Here's a vid on youtube of someone using it. Can't say I like the music much, but the software is impressive
