View Full Version : the visible spoiler
The first few lines of the original post are displayed as a hover box (tooltip, hint) on the forum page when you mouse-over each thread title. Nice.
When you have a spoiler in the first few lines, the content of the spoiler is displayed. Example: "trick question (geography)" in theforumcurrentlyknownas History & Geography (http://www.freethought-forum.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=50). Not so nice.

Good catch, Joe. I have that pop-up feature disabled* because I don't like it. I'll put that on the list of things to try to figure out.
* Incidentally, anyone can disable it in the User Options (http://www.freethought-forum.com/forum/profile.php?do=editoptions) by selecting "Deactivate" under "Display Thread Preview".

Except, as I mentioned in the Upgrade Bugs thread, that feature remains enabled when viewing posts via the Show Threads --> Show Posts --> New posts and also when viewing the results of forum searches. :(

I never linger long enough over the dang things to have those popups come up. If you'd just move your damn mouse faster and be more decisive then you would have this problem. Jeez, the simplest things...
Just kidding.

You arrogant, self-absorbed bastard!
Just kidding.
Oh, ok.
