We could use one or two more for the next game of Scotland Yard. :yup:

Crumb

So since we are one player short, would anyone be willing to control two detectives?

LadyShea
06-01-2009, 05:59 PM
C'mon people, it's fun! We need just one more player!

Crumb
06-01-2009, 06:36 PM
So that's a no for you, LadyShea? :chin:

LadyShea
06-01-2009, 06:45 PM
LOL, just trying a last minute recruitment. I don't want to play two detectives, no, one is enough for me.

MonCapitan2002

Same here. I guess we can wait a little more for another player.

Crumb
06-01-2009, 06:58 PM
I've posted some off-site recruitment.

Leesifer

Crumb, I'm not going to be online much for the next few days - if you don't get anyone else, I'll try and play from work but evenings are pretty much off this week. Sorreh!

I'll bet that Spaniard is in town....

Actually it is an Italian girl.

Actually it is an Italian girl.

In that case, I want details.

I'll play the next one if there is a next one. I have too many things going on in the next two weeks to jump in right now.

Crumb

Thanks Jerome. :)

So is everyone else still ready to go? Let me know if you are still in. We could start up next week.

I'm ready to go and I could outrun any five detectives in London.

So there.

Oh...Beginning this Friday, I'll be on the road for ten days, doing the circuit of central to eastern, to northeastern Oregon and back home. It's this year's limited travel venue.

No biggie, though, Swimmer will be taking her laptop. I'll just check in when we hit access, probably in any of the no-tell motels. We'll be in Wallowa Lake Lodge Thursday and Friday.

I am ready to go. I work nights, so I will either participate at work or in the mornings.

Crumb
06-10-2009, 05:03 PM
Ok that's half our players. :)

Nightson
06-10-2009, 05:58 PM
I'm around.

Crumb

So that leaves LadyShea and Leesifer.

Italian girl....Leesifer....just let your imagination wander....

Leesifer

I'm in.

Crumb

:yay!:

Ok, I guess we could maybe start up earlier than next week. :)

Jerome

Do we get guns?

Poison darts?

Tazer?

What about water boarding?

:P

I have played this game once on a board, a while ago. I am excited!

Will there be a PM, or will the link be announced in this thread?

I think Crumb will give us basics with our assignments.

We just finished out first trial run about three weeks back. There are repeat players and new players. I was a detective last run, as was LadyShea and Leesifer.

There will most likely be a game thread and a peanut gallery thread. I wouldn't deign to tell detectives what they might do or not do.

Jerome
06-11-2009, 02:19 AM
Is kibitzing allowed between the players?

godfry n. glad
06-11-2009, 02:32 AM
You mean, off peanut gallery thread? Yes. PM activity between detectives was fair during the last game. Nobody knew what they were doing at the start, so there was a bit of floundering until the first reveal of the fugitive (turn 3).

Unless there is a new rule, or clarification, I think that will probably prevail here. I'm under the distinct impression that the detectives pretty much need to work together to apprehend the fugitive. The fugitive gets to do nothing but taunt in the peanut gallery, I guess.

...Aside from exchanges with Crumb, of course.

I'll give it a try

MonCapitan2002
06-11-2009, 05:04 AM
:celebrate: It is always good to have more people. I do have a question, though. If you have a sufficient number of participants (say 10 or so), would there be more than one fugitive for the detectives to go after?

LadyShea
06-11-2009, 05:06 AM
Sorry guys, I just got back from vacation

MonCapitan2002
06-11-2009, 05:09 AM
Did you have a good time. It isn't much of a problem, though since the next game hasn't started yet.

Crumb
06-11-2009, 04:06 PM
I'll give it a try
Sorry Legsy, I can only do 6 players. I think adding a detective would change the balance of the game. But there is sure to be a next time.

LadyShea
06-11-2009, 04:08 PM
If she wants she can have my spot, as I said I only want to play if nobody new does.

And yes, MonCap, it was a nice vacation thanks for asking

Crumb
06-11-2009, 04:26 PM
Oh well, Legs can be in then. :)

MonCapitan2002
06-11-2009, 04:39 PM
I am glad you had a good time LadyShea. So only six people can play?

Crumb
06-11-2009, 05:12 PM
Only 6.

Leesifer
06-11-2009, 05:29 PM
So, Crumb. Only 6 people can play?

LadyShea
06-11-2009, 05:36 PM
Wait, is it only 6 people allowed to play? I am confused.

Crumb
06-11-2009, 05:58 PM
:glare:

Jerome
06-12-2009, 12:10 AM
How many people can play?

:giggle:

Crumb
06-12-2009, 12:25 AM
6!

MonCapitan2002
06-12-2009, 04:19 AM
So what is that number again?

Crumb

MonCapitan2002
06-12-2009, 04:30 AM
So what does that mean? Is it seven that can play?

Crumb
06-12-2009, 04:31 AM
Don't make me add you to the "not funny" thread.

Jerome
06-12-2009, 04:43 AM
I think he is funny.

It is too late for that. I already did the deed.
