In two other threads, I've said some mean things to Sonnet and I apologize.

It's probably obvious to most here that I simply lost my temper. That's not an excuse, just an observation and an admission.

In any case, regardless what Sonnet may have said to me in those threads about avatars, she does not deserve to be treated that way. No one does.

I apologize to Sonnet. I mean that sincerely.

And I apologize to everyone else who had to read my nonsense. And I'll try harder not to do it again.

That's good of you to apologise, xouper. Very cool. :)

I think that in this entirely text based medium we can often misinterpret one another and this can lead to heated squabbles and hurt feelings over other's words unnecessarily. We are all guilty of occassionally assigning uncharitable motives or context to another's posts where none is intended and then responding with a swift kneejerk reaction to the groin. We all do it from time to time. What we don't all do enough of, though, is genuinely say we're sorry. I know you weren't apologising to me, but thanks for your apology anyway.

I think it's cool too, xouper. I know enough about you and Sonnet to believe that neither of you had any real hostile intent in this. I hope you're both able to work things out to your own satisfaction, whatever that means for you both.

Accepted, if it still stands, and offered in kind.
