I mentioned last week that I painted the bathroom and I promised pics. Here they are!

I spent about $100 at WalMart on the accessories, and another $100 at Lowes on paint and supplies (but I got enough supplies and primer and stuff to do another room). I did one coat of non-tinted primer and two coats of paint. Spent 2 days on it. It's not perfect, but I think it's a big improvement.

Looks great! Did you buy a house or something? If renting, the landlord doesn't care?

That looks great, ES.

Definitely looks much nicer, good job.

Can you move the shower curtain rod up a bit? the ceiling must be really high in that bathroom.

We're renting, but they don't care.

I love it! I'm very partial to sea green color in bathrooms! All my towels have been and now even my new sinks and some of the rug matts are that color.

It looks so much fresher, like there's Irish Spring on the wall instead of just in the soap dish.

OMG your sinks are green? I love it! I have always loved pastel bathroom fixtures, but of course I'm partial to pink.

Wow, it's amazing what a coat of paint and some accessories can do. Very nice!

Needs some Día de los Muertos stuff to spruce it up a bit. I wonder where you could find that stuff? :chin:

That is a good job, kudos on removing the wooden sticking out from the wall cabinet too. Those things bug me.

I am hoping to paint at some time in my lifetime, some room...

Extra storage is always a good thing, but randomly sticking medicine cabinets to walls is not. I always wonder what people were thinking with shit like that.

If you need some more shelf space, a nice open freestanding unit should fit in there and would look great with those towels.

Unfortunately that room is too narrow, and there's no place to put a free-standing anything. I can't even put my scale on the floor without risking toenail injury. I have removed the doors off the cabinets and I intend to sand and paint them, and then hang one up behind the commode and the other on the right-hand side of the sink, where the fluorescent lamp used to be. Not until next week, though.

Those locations at least make sense. Sticking out of walls like they were would have me banging my head on them prolly like every day. What's behind the door to the left? Is it a closet or the commode?

Oh, quick tip I learned from my Vegas house...you can spray paint door knobs if the chipped brass isn't doing it for you. Use high quality paint. I did a matte silver for a pseudo brushed nickel look.

That's a closet. Around the corner from there is the door to the other bedroom. It's a Jack and Jill style.

Our bathroom is super tiny too (knees knock bathtub while on the commode). I bought some cheap glass shelves for above the toilet, which are pretty invisible and easy to clean. Water plus dust on wood makes for a mess to clean and eventually warps.

That's a good idea. I had considered glass shelves to keep with the fresh and clean look. I'll think about it.

I've tried three times to show you a picture of the aqua sinks but for some reason when I hit browse to find the picture, whether I use the attach or try to put it in my profile pics the screen freezes and I have to close my browser. Maybe have to clear my cookies or something.
