Tell me what you think of the following quote from my Martini Bar thread at II:
"Fruity pink drinks are like balm to your troubles. Consider for instance the ever popular Cosmopolitan, properly made with fruit infused vodka. Chilled and slightly sweet, it goes down smooth while looking pretty."
This is what happens to me when I don't have sex for a couple of weeks. Unless I school myself carefully, it comes out in my writing. If I stay celibate I could probably make money writing stuff like that...
What say you wise ones? And anyone else who cares to impose themselves on my little thread.

I would say that there's no reason to separate your alcohol from sex. Since the first often leads to the second, anyhow...... :chin:

Well it's really more a question of having sex over writing sexy.

aspenmama,
I think you should avoid having sex in the future for the good of us all.
I dont drink pink drinks but reading your quote made me want to go out and get a cosmopolitan, and have sex with it.

I dont drink pink drinks but reading your quote made me want to go out and get a cosmopolitan, and have sex with it. Wasn't that a Seinfeld episode? Wait, no, it was Glamour, not Cosmo.

What do you like more: sex or writing sexy?
How long would it take (with the absence of sex) for the beautiful writing to turn ugly and aggressive? This question is not a reflection on you, I just get belligerent and nasty when I go without sex for any extended period? This nastiness manifests itself in my writing.

Well there was a Seinfeld episode where Elaine turned into a complete moron because she went without sex for a while. It had the opposite effect on George.

Sex. But if I can make money writing sexy, it might be worth it to suck it up, I mean, er keep my legs crossed...

Well I do get cranky. But it's not reflected in my writing.

Take note on what X-Z has to say.
Think back to how friendly and inviting my writing was a year ago (I think Roland's term was "venomous"). That was a year and a half without sex.
There are limits to the benefits of sexual repression.

I'm glad to have such an effect on you. :P
Heh, Warren never drank pink drinks before he met me in Denver several months ago... now he's a fan of pink drinks. Poor Godfry was a bit too ill to indulge pinkness on his visit. :martini:

And your writing is different now? :flirt:
Can you imagine me, venomous?

Umm....well, I don't think it's any different, but I haven't been banned from any list for nearly a year now. That's an advance. I guess you'd have to ask vm or liv or the like...
You? Venomous? No, I can't imagine that. But I have heard you refer to your ex.....heh....
