MIDLAND, Texas - A Texas sheriff fired one deputy and suspended three others without pay after a scantily dressed waitress holding a rifle posed for photographs on the hood of a patrol vehicle.
Police said Round Rock officers were dispatched to a restaurant after someone reported the waitress with the weapon, which had been given to her by one of the Midland County deputies who had been attending a training session near Austin.
The incident occurred last week in the parking lot of a Twin Peaks restaurant, which promotes its "fun, friendly and sometimes flirty atmosphere!"
The deputies told Midland County Sheriff Gary Painter that they had about three to five beers each.
A fifth deputy who remained inside the eatery got a letter of reprimand.
I'm thinking there firing had more to do with the consumption of beers while on the job....

He should have just slept with her instead. At least then, he'd still have his job.

Damn, I can't believe I didn't get to start this thread. :mutter:
That "waitress" (in quotes, as ES so eloquently noted) is from Twin Peaks, one of the half-dozen or so PG-13 strip club restaurants near my workplace. I started a thread on the subject of these Hooters-esque places a long time ago. (The actual Hooter's is across the highway from Twin Peaks in this case.)
Way to get international fame from being a strumptress!
Oh and btw, one cop was fired, three were suspended and one got a written reprimand. And yes, it was because of the unbelievably stupid act of letting a civilian pose with their AR-15 in the parking lot of a public restaurant, not from the drinking. The Smoking Gun has the report (and notice on about page three how the deputies tried to pass some captain buddy of theirs off as their boss when he wasn't.)

What the hell is a "PG-13 strip club restaurant"?? Also, her name is Bambi? Seriously?

I thought the headline read "Cops fire on waitress on car with a rifle."

A strip club where they leave most of their clothes on.
They don't have those here, or if they do the quickly go out of business, because we have real strippers. Plus lingerie modeling clubs, where I was informed that you have to buy the lingerie for the "models" before they model it.
I am so not looking forward to getting used undies this year for my birthday.

Tulsa has a Twin Peaks restaurant that opened very recently. I had no idea what it was about until I saw a review in the local rag Urban Tulsa Weekly.

Yeah, what Qingdai said. I started this thread (http://www.freethought-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12079) on the subject a couple years ago.
We have a Hooters, Twin Peaks, Tilted Kilt, Joy (actual strip club) and even a "Sushi Nini" (yes, raw fish served by scantily clad biker chicks) within a two block radius of my work. I've never been to any Hooters or Twin Peaks and don't think I've been back to the Tilted Kilt since that thread, but I've been to a similar place called Bone Daddy's a couple times. They have delicious bbq wings in addition to a very beautiful waitstaff.
Watser?

You could probably train men, Pavlov-wise, to get an erection every time they eat bbq wings.
