Hi everyone,

Long time no see, I know...

We went to Italy again this summer, this time to the Northern Lakes area.

If anyone is interested, my photos are on flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/helenmildenhall/tags/italy2009/show/) or on my site (http://mildenhall.net/).

Life is going well, except that I started having symptoms of Crohn's disease late in 2007 and my doctor hasn't succeeded in finding medication which greatly helps so far.

Somehow my son got old enough to get a driving license a few weeks ago which is both convenient and scary. Both my kids are continuing to progress musically - my site has several videos of them playing piano and violin (http://www.mildenhall.net/music/).

And I still belong to the Dark Side :yup:

Helen! :bigglomp: I love it when you pop in, and this time you brought me Italy! Gorgeous pics.

I'm sorry to hear about the Crohn's. I understand it can be horribly painful. I hope there's management for that at least.

Hi liv,

I did feel confident there would be at least one person here who would like to see photos of Italy.

The Crohn's pain is fortunately low level much of the time. I think the meds I'm on may be helping a little. Just not as much as I'd like...:meh:

Well, that's something, at least. Here's hoping you land on a treatment that works all the way. :crossed:
