Cast my vote the "Wanted" poster.

The others are fine candidates, but this one gets my vote because Deadwood is back on the air.

Man, this is a tough one. The Spanish Inquisition is awesome, but the Wanted poster is so genuine looking. I had to go with the latter.

Crumb, you're so responsible to come back and do the poll even mid-girlfriend. Hi girlfriend! Thanks for releasing the momentary release.

What is this? Some sort of Inquisition? :P

I think the Wanted and Missing posters are cute, but kinda pointless.

The Monty Python reference is overplayed.

Double posts should be deleted, not celebrated.

The iron-e meter is overplayed.

Bla Bla Bla and Thank You are both really cute, but I prefer the happier one.

So it's :thankyou: for me.

Maybe if the admins gave us that option...

The reason we have disabled that functionality is because the post edit and delete windows are inextricably linked, which means that the 24 hour edit window would apply to deletes as well. As a result, a member could theoretically make a dozen posts in a heated thread (and garner as many or more replies) then the following day delete them all and make it seem like they never posted. At the same time when a post is deleted the numbers of all the subsequent posts change, so any links to posts made in that thread after the deleted post will break.

So all things considered it doesn't seem to us that the benefits of allowing members to delete their own posts outweigh the drawbacks, so absent a persuasive argument in favor of it we won't be allowing it at this time.

Where's the "None of the Above" option?

There's a "None of the Above" smiley in the "I Saw the Sign" category?

Or, did you mean to say "Nun of the Above"?

Oops....not there, either.

Perhaps you'd prefer a more modern version? :D

That's funny now that I've Googled the meaning of it. :D (Though it appears 'doctrine' is superfluous.)

Btw, I found this interesting blurb in the process:

Catholics can vote for John Kerry. They don’t have to, but it would not be a sin to do so, according to a distinguished theologian:

“A Catholic would be guilty of formal cooperation in evil, and so unworthy to present himself for Holy Communion, if he were to deliberately vote for a candidate precisely because of the candidate’s permissive stand on abortion and/or euthanasia. When a Catholic does not share a candidate’s stand in favor of abortion and/or euthanasia, but votes for that candidate for other reasons, it is considered remote material cooperation, which can be permitted in the presence of proportionate reasons.”

These are not the words of some radical liberal Catholic theologian who is unconcerned about killing babies. Rather, they were written by the Cardinal President of the Congregation for the Defense of the Faith (once the Holy Office of the Inquisition), Joseph Ratzinger. It is as close to an official statement on the subject as one is likely to get. It says that Catholics are not obliged to vote on one issue, no matter how important that issue might be.

Actually, according to the Vatican, it appears that 'defense' is superfluous. Oh well, I copied the text from a post at RW and made the sign from it. It's still good for laughs. :D

Then what do you have against the smiley, if we don't have the option to delete?
