I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning! :yahoo:

This is kinda my birthday present to myself. I waffled back and forth for weeks deciding whether to do it or not, but in the end, I just couldn't resist. I'll make up for it by eating Ramen once a day for a year or something. Totally worth it! :yup:

That's really cute, Lauri. Congrats. :woohoo:

Don't make up for it by poisoning yourself with Ramen, though. :yuck:

Wow, congrats! What are you going to do with the old one?

I'm trading Winnie in *sniff* to the same dealer. They gave me a great trade-in (more than I was seeing them listed for private party) as I have low mileage (less than 10k a year) on it, kept it in really good condition, and they have high demand for used 2002's right now. I'm stoked :)

That is so cool! You can go around topless all summer.

She's a very pretty princess (with bigger rims than my Prius, goddammit). Have you named her yet?

Well, hunger finally forced me out of the driver's seat (I've barely stopped driving since yesterday afternoon!) This has got to be the funnest (?!) car ever made. It has all these nifty features.... and BUTT WARMERS!

I haven't quite decided on a name yet. For some reason "Gwen" had popped into my mind, but after driving her around it doesn't quite fit. I shall wait for her to speak to me. :)

What a beauty of a little thing!

But ... can she carry the weight of several dozen gold ingots (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0317740/)? :D

Congrats, Lauri.

...but don't you need one for each foot? :D

Umm ... aren't you in Texas? What the hell do need "butt warmers" for in Texas?

Up here, in the "we don't care what the calendar says, it ain't Spring yet" land, they'd be put to some good use!

What I hate about warm weather driving is how hot ones ass and lower back get. I'd love to have something like this chair (http://www.levenger.com/PAGETEMPLATES/PRODUCT/Product.asp?Params=Category=5-21-519|PageID=1587|Level=2-3-4) installed for summer driving -- just to keep cool.

Anyway, glad you're enjoying the new ride. Hope the gas prices don't prohibit you from driving too much.
/me starts eyeing those hybrid cars more seriously

Texas, SoCal, what's the difference? They both have orange groves and cotton patches and gobs of sunshine and egos.

I'm back home in California, Shake. The weather here has been absolutely gorgeous, too - mid to high 70's. I got a little bit of a sunburn around the shoulders yesterday  but then I went to the drugstore and stocked up on sunscreen. Don't want to turn into something you could make a handbag out of :D

Butt warmer?! BUTT WARMERS?!! People make butt warmers?!Yes they do. My 1999 Chevy Silverado LT had them. It was nice to feel the increasing warmth on the backside before the engine even warms up enough to provide heat.
