Alright, so we had a great time on Thursday and it seems that D&D fever is starting to catch on! :powerwoot:

Monday has been pretty much the unanimous second D&D day <--- nevermind (thanks Crumbles :glare:), so let's start out like this:

If you're interested in playing on some other night, post your available days/times and what role you're interested in (player, for most of you, I'm guessing.)

sort of like this:

Megatron: Any day but Thursday/Sunday, 2 PM to 4 AM CDT (DM or player*)
*I'm in the Thursday game as a player already.

Let's try to give priority for this game to the folks who can't play the Thursday game before any of us who are already in jump on board (unless you're volunteering to DM, or you're Adam, since he's the Thursday DM.)

Also, IMPORTANT SHIT: If at all possible (at least if I end up DM'ing it) we'll be using MapTool, version 1.3b59, which can be downloaded here: Click me for free buttsex! (http://www.rptools.net/index.php?page=downloads#MapTool)

I probably won't be able to make every Monday, but I'd like to try my hand at playing. I can play whatever type of character is missing but, based solely on the latest crazy character concept to pop into my head, I'm leaning toward a shaman.

I am interested, but I don't know if Monday is the best day for me. Would anyone be more interested in a Tuesday game?

First post/thread title edited, if there's a better day that suits more people then we'll run with that, but most of what I saw on the other thread kept pointing at Monday.

Just put in whatever days you will be available and we'll see what we can put together.

I think the other thread was pointing toward Monday at least in part b/c I was offering to DM and Monday was one of my two free nights. If we have a DM who's free on a non-Monday night, that opens things up a bit.

 If I end up doing it, I literally have 5 free nights a week and a 14+ hour window to work with until January, and maybe even longer depending on what my class load (:bunnythrust:) looks like.

I'm good for some evening or another, as all my classes are in the mornings. I would be willing to DM as well, though I would probably take Adam's route and run some pre-made modules the first time or two.

That's not really helpful I know, but really any night of the week including Saturday or Sunday would work just fine for me.

Okay I'm in.

I'll play some sort of Elven Druid.

Tuesday doesn't work for me, Sundays and Thursdays are not the greatest but are manageable.

So far we have:

Megatron (DM/Player) - Mon/Tue/Wed/Fri/Sat
Kael (DM/Player) - Any day except Thursday
Crumb (Player) - Tuesday
Adam (Player) - Monday
Nightson (Player) - Sun/Thu (If those aren't the best days for you, go ahead and post which ones are)

I'm sure I saw some other posts in the prior thread, but it's the weekend and it usually gets all quiet around these parts on the weekends ;)

I'd edit this and keep it in the first post but damn edit time restriction :shakeliv:

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough

Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat are the best days for me

Sundays I'm busy until mid afternoon. Tuesdays I'm busy in the late afternoon. Thursdays I'll miss a session once a month.

I really doubt the time zones will work for me, I'm around 18 hours ahead of EST. Possibly US Tuesday evening (my Wednesday afternoon), but even that's not reliable.

I'll stick to the Thursday game, but it was fun.

I recognize this from the old Dragon Magazines, but the two story tellers look just like the one's for Genius Girl..... thought they looked familiar.

Yes, we play online. The way we set it up last week, we split the game into two venues.

First, we all downloaded the latest version of MapTool (http://www.rptools.net/index.php?page=downloads#MapTool), which gives us a virtual table to play on, with its own chat channel. We used that channel strictly for in character stuff.

We also used the Colosseum channel in :ff: chat for out of character chatting, dice rolling, etc. We had a couple of lurkers in there too watching the game, although they, sadly, missed the in character stuff.

All the Foglios' stuff is pretty similar, IMO.

"Phil" is Phil Foglio the artist. "Dixie Null" was a made-up side-kick. When Phil got married to another artist--Kaja--he started drawing Dixie with blond hair to match . . . which Kaja kind of thought was silly. They did another series for Magic: The Gathering--which I have never played. They also did the artwork for some of the cards.
