You replied before the Poll was up. You can vote now though.
Although for some reason the guy you want :P didn't show up. :(
I can't seem to edit the poll, can a friendly admin help out?

A shame (IMO) that :chin: and :sadcheer: failed to make it to the poll stage. Never mind, there can only be one winner.

Smileytext is case sensitive, believe it or not. I found that out the hard way somewhere around upload number 1004. All fixed now. :yup:
I can't believe nobody voted for :glare:. He's so singularly unimpressed. I love him.

This was a very good group of smilies. It is hard to choose only three.
BTW, you guys can vote for more than one smilie in this poll. I encourage it.

So...what will the champion Smiley win? Will it be the champion only for a year? Will the First Runner Up Smiley be charged with taking over the Champion's Duties if, for any reason, the Champion can't perform them? Will there be a short Crowning ceremony during which vm sings Here it comes: Champion Smiley and hands the winning smiley a bouquet of flowers? Are all the smilies on TV even as I write? Why was there no bathing suit competition? FAR Be it from me to tell you how to run a conte

I do believe that the champion smilies should have some prize or place of honor. But in my humble position as a mere "Mac-Daddy Crumb-Meister Electro-Pimp" I don't have the power or authority to enact such practices. You do ask very good questions; someone should address them.
My job is simply to discover which smilies the denizens of FF hold to be the best of the best. What is done with this information is up to the powers that be.

Maybe, I shouldn't be in charge of the smilie-off. I just now figured this guy :innocent: out. I understood he was sitting there with a glowing halo about his head loooking all angelic and innocent, but I never understood why he suddenly looks distraught and the takes out his pocket watch to look at the time. :tmcnfusd: What does that have to do with being innocent?
I just took the time though and noticed that his halo goes out and that is not a pocket watch! sheesh...

I noticed that we seem to have no resident FARBs, so I'm just trying to fill in until one joins. It's extremely important that every board have a FARB. If you don't believe me, just ask one.

Crumb, that's just wrong! Your position as "Mac-Daddy Crumb-Meister Electro-Pimp" is vital. Who are the admins to say that your authority should be anything but limitless?!

FARB? :chin:
FARB is short for "far be it from me". It's reinacting slang and is typically applied to those reinacters who are, in the never humble opinion of others, not genuine enough in their roles, usually because their accouterments are considered incorrect.
BUT...the arrogant people who need to feel superior, but without sounding like it, and so, unfairly nitpick away as though they were being paid for it, are the real FARBs, since they're the ones who actually say "Far be it from me..."before blowing out all the candles on ones cake.
I have met so many arrogant, self-appointed experts on internet message boards that I feel we should have a term for them.

I suspect it is, Skeptoid; that FARBs are cloned in some secret FARB lab and then sent out into the world as part of a fiendishly evil plan to slowly torture us into a state of permanent insanity in order to achieve World Domination.
