Marvin Zindler was one of the greats of any TV station. His biggest claim to fame (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvin_Zindler#At_KTRK-TV) was eventually immortalized in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. He was a fantastic news personality. I looked forward to his weekly Rat and Roach Report just to here him shout exuberantly at the camera "Slime in the ice machine!"
