Since when did Windows Update decide to bug me every minute or so to ask me if I wanna reboot after installing the latest updates? I know that some updates require a reboot, but before now, I've usually decided to reboot when I wanna reboot. Now I get bugged every minute or two with "Windows Update requires that you reboot your computer for the updates to take effect. Do you wish to restart your computer?"

:fuming:

So how long will it be until we see windows with text like the following:

Anal Rape: Please bend over a little bit more. Yeah, that's it....by the way, do you wanna reboot?"

Okay, now cough...<grabbing testicles and squeezing> I SAID COUGH, GOD DAMN IT!! Oh, and by the way, you'll need to reboot, ok?

*sigh*

hehe... windows has been the target of so much mischief that I think they have their developers working overtime to make security patches.

Your mouse has been moved. Windows must be rebooted in order for this change to take effect.

The other one you posted reminded me of one of the cartoons I came up with for my Cranky User book, but which I did not decide to make my wife draw, and which I am not sending to the publisher. It was gonna be for the section on voice recognition.

There's a man yelling at a computer, and behind him, a giant hydraulic arm with a large dildo mounted on it. The caption: "After the incident, Harold never yelled "fuck me" near the computer again."

To top that off. A software developer from MS (second hand info, (he also doesn't work there anymore), but I know it is valid) has written in back-doors to hack into the operating system. They aren't "fixed" yet.

So, this from just one developer.

Nice to know people care. All the more reason to not use MS products.
