free if possible, I don't know if any one here has looked in to or seen any resources like this. I'm going to be starting a very math heavy course in April, and I need get on top of things as my math/ skills are rather rusty at the moment.

Its essentially a specialized mechanical engineering course, that deals with parts design, cad/cam usage and manufacturing processes. Its a two year long course, and I'll come out of it as a registered engineer.

seeing as I'm a red seal journeyman machinist, it seems like good next step.

Maybe this can be a jumping off point.

What sort of maths will it involve? Is it basically calculus and linear algebra?

I find that this has some decent stuff on it.
