Right now I am jonesing for a cherry limeade from Sonic, and a big pile of those awful ballpark nachos. The ones with the little khaki jalapeno discs and the fluorescent fake cheese.*

What are you having an insane specific craving for, right now?

* checks calendar... ohhhh, THAT's why.

A tuna salad sandwich with pickles and banana peppers.

Also, a cheapassed salad bar salad with lettuce and jalapenos and chopped egg and beets and onions and mushrooms, with that gross-assed blue cheese dressing that you only get at the cheapest, saddest salad bars.

And cole slaw and a baked potato with tons of butter PLUS sour cream...

OOH! Waldorf salad!

And a steak.

Also: tater tots.

Nevermind.

I think I'm just plain hungry.

Now I want a burrito.

Or bebimbap with, like, a total assload of kim chee.

(I went and looked around in the kitchen, and was still uninspired, so I'm still hungry.)

Coq au vin chicken (http://www.post-gazette.com/food/20011213winemakerrp5.asp) and mashed potatoes. Is it dinnertime yet?

OK I know this isn't going to happen, but I've been wanting a guacamole burger and fries from Red Robin. Big hamburger with cheese, big slice of red onion, bacon and layer of guacamole - plus bottomless big steak fries.

I miss Seattle. :deepsigh:

Inspired by Ex-zombie, I just gnoshed on linguine with tuna, garlic and parsley. I still really want that seaweed salad, though.

Sushi. But that just means it's a day ending in 'y'.

:( The malted milk Easter eggs I bought half priced today. I ate 3/4 of the bag so far.:(

There I was, on my way to miso/sashimi-ville and I heard the call of a Long Island iced tea and the grilled veggies at Outback. Mmmm. Outback's grilled veggies, a cup of creamy onion soup. A Long Island and a shot of silver Patron with lots of limes. :gnoshing:

Well and a whole bunch of other yummy stuff, but yup, instant craving and nearly instant gratification. :yup: Plus I've got two pork chops, two loaves of that dark bread (Flutter will be pleased tomorrow for breakfast) and half a baked potato as leftovers.

Mashed cauliflower with garlic. No, really.

It was reading about the fauxtatoes that brought it on, wasn't it?

Either some wings from the Wild Wing Cafe (http://www.wildwingcafe.com/) (too bad there's none up here) or some Cici's Pizza (http://www.cicispizza.com/cicis/)!

Two of the biggest things I miss about Charleston.

After the thread on Indian cooking, and now the thread about lentils, I have a serious jones for some Dal. With Saag Paneer, and served over Basmati rice... :lecher:
