View Full Version : I am really frustrated and angry right now and feel like my head might explode

Why? I can barely type for the stupid-ass tears that keep falling, and I'm not even half-packed.

I have done this time and time again, and yet can't set myself free. LadyShea, I submit myself to your couch as it were.

Bottom line, if I am not self-aware I am nothing, and in the spirit of self-awareness I submit that I have been broken and cannot be fixed.

I don't know you very well and I don't know what has led you to this point, but I am of the belief that everything can be fixed. Sometimes it's never put back the way it was but in a different way and that isn't a bad thing.

What I meant to say is :hugs: and I hope you get through this and come out a stronger Lauri.

I am sorry that you are experiencing pain right now, but I have no idea what the cause/reason for this pain is.

"Broken and can't be fixed" is probably an accurate description of all of us, but seriously; what's wrong? Or if you'd rather not say, then simply consider yourself hugged.

Whoa...Lauri, that sounds kinda serious. If you need to take it off-forum with LS, I'll understand entirely, but I'm real crap at dealing with, or responding to, indeterminate causes.

Count me in with Watser? and Brim.

Hug from me too.

I sorta agree with Brim on "broken can't be fixed" - at least I can relate to the feeling - but I also sorta think it's not a useful metaphor for understanding ourselves. Having things that are never completely resolved isn't the same thing as broken.

Couldn't have said it any better.

I hope you find a way to make yourself happier, Lauri.

Is this related to your wanderlust thread, Lauri? Did you start packing to take off and hit an emotional wall? Whatever's going wrong, I'm sorry. :(

 (but not too tightly because we don't want any exploding heads around here).

Sorry that whatever it is has gone so wrong.

And on the basis that laughter may allegedly be the best medicine, in some jurisdictions...
Why did I think, on reading the thread title, that this was a Shelli "toy" thread?

You're a warm, friendly, encouraging person, Lauri. Always there for others, ready to lend them a hand. Beautiful inside and out.

Why did I think, on reading the thread title, that this was a Shelli "toy" thread?Because you're a perv and ever since I started that thread, you see it, in some shape or form, in every other thread ever started? :girltong:

Will fill in more detail later, but wanted to update to say that I'm feeling much better after a little sleep and a good long talk with a good friend (you know who you are!)

It is amazing what a good bit of sleep will do. Amazing stuff, sleep.
