You heard them. End "obstructionism and accountability by politicians".

One of these clauses should have been at the end of the sentence. Hint: it's not the one they put at the end of the sentence.

So the most popular story on CNN.com right now is that Natalee Holloway's bones may have been found in Aruba.
BUT WAIT because the actual story isn't anything like that.
These are the facts:
1) Some tourists were diving and took a picture of some thing underwater that may or may not be a skeleton.
2) If it is a skeleton, and nobody has established that it is, it could be a human skeleton.
3) Therefore, Natalie Holloway's bones have been found.
If you put a question mark after it, Nancy Grace will report it as news.

Well there is the 'cat rescued with jar on head' that I would like to click on.
"cat rescued with jar on head" - Google Search (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22cat+rescued+with+jar+on+head%22) points us to ... right here, as you'd expect.
However, other reports of the story can be found:
Cat escapes very sticky situation - Animal weirdness- msnbc.com (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22059587/)
Newsvine - Cat Survives 19 Days With Jar on Head (http://www.newsvine.com/_news/2007/12/01/1135469-cat-survives-19-days-with-jar-on-head)
BARTLETT, Tenn. - A feral cat survived for 19 days with a jar stuck on its head.
Memphis veterinarian Gerald Blackburn ... said the cat may have lived off of its excess fat.
You don't say. Or perhaps some mice helpfully wriggled inside the jar? I don't see how you can rule that out.

Jesus fucking christ I fail at geography, I stared at that for five solid minutes before I figured out what's wrong with it.
(In my defense though, weak as it may be, I really only focused on the Germany part and was like "Errrr, what's wrong with this? That's where Berlin is..." and didn't actually look at the other countries until I saw the shoops later down the page. Then it finally hit me - "Wait, WTF, SwitzerCzech?")
Either way, I'll take my :dumbass: trophy now.

Also, slight derail from the funnies of this thread, but, it STILL pisses me off when I think about that ridiculous shit Natalee's father said about the TV coverage on her.
I can't remember the exact wording, I might have to go quote mining, but basically he accused the media of abandoning the story for the next "ratings grabber" - which was, by the way, Hurricane Katrina. Seriously, dude, I'm sorry for your loss, but the destruction of a major american city is a lot more than a "ratings grabber", asshole... and that story was run into the fucking ground by the media as it is.
He also accused the Aruban government of using the "diversion" of Katrina to "quietly" release the guys that they had insufficient evidence to hold in the first place.
I mean, really? What the fuck, man.

Yeah there were some local parents whose kids were in Haiti during the earthquake, and I don't think they were ever found, but oh my god you could not shut those assholes up about how not enough was being done for their children in the wake of the Haiti quake.
