After seeing a thread Helen posted about a strange blog, I decided to creat a blog at that site. But then, after creating the name and template, I realized that I just suck. I can think of nothing witty or sappy to say. I can think of no intellectual jargon to compose. I can think of nothing worthy of reading on the screen. :(

What are blogs for anyway? A journal is fine, just write mundane crap about life, but blogging...that requires an oomph that I obviously don't have.

Blogs are the electronic equivalent of standing on your soapbox. If you're really interested in it, blog about something you really love or hate, passion makes you a better writer IMO.

Beth, I've read your stuff where you go off on obnoxious relatives and on child abusers and I've just got to say, you got plenty to say and say it pretty well; better than me anyhow.

This gives me some sort of direction in how to blog and the soapbox thought makes it less intimidating for me. I think I'll enjoy doing it.
Poor sucker who'll stumble 'cross my blog. :P

I must say that you articulate yourself quite well- and not just in your compliments to me. :D
