I am a bastard son. (Unlike all those bastard daughters, right? Because you know only boys can be bastards SO SHUT UP PEA.) I was conceived and born out of wedlock, the last child to my birth mother. I have other half siblings in the world but I don't know who they are. I met at least a few of them one time a long time ago when I was just a wee borther. I didn't learn until recently that my mom made a, I think, terrible decision that isolated her (and consequently me) from them. My mom showed me a picture of who my father was once, again, a long time ago. I asked to meet him and she told me that he would but he never showed up. I never asked again and haven't cared since.

I have a biological father and some half-sibs running around there somewhere, but my "real" dad is my stepdad. Mom shacked up with him when I was two, I suspect to get a free babysitter while she finished her degree and began her international jet-setting career. He basically raised me, which is cool because he was a way cool dad. Then when he had served his purpose, she dumped him with zero warning (we literally snuck out in the night). We kept in touch on birthdays and holidays until he told me when I was 20 that he couldn't see me anymore because I reminded him too much of her and it made him sad. I haven't heard from him since, and I don't know whether he's dead or alive. We tried tracking him down before the wedding, but no luck.

One time, I'm talking to my mom or whatever, and for some reason, I made fun of Charles Bronson I guess, and she was all like, "NO. STOP THAT. BE NICE TO CHARLES BRONSON. WHAT IF HE IS YOUR FATHER? DID YOU EVER THINK OF THAT???!?!" then later, she's all like, "Oh, no, lol I was just kidding. Charles Bronson is not your father. I never even knew him" and I'm all like whatever. What's said is said.

She also gets really mad if people say anything disrespectful about a) George Washington, or b) Little Lord Fauntleroy.
