Hey,

I don't know how many Humanists are here at FF or if y'all are otherwise interested in threads regarding charity and ways to help others, but our friend Sebastian is reaching out for continued help for those still suffering in Haiti and so I thought I'd share.

His ongoing efforts really are making a difference there and I think the principles that are so often being expressed here at FF are consistent with those workers and volunteers helping out in Haiti.

He asks to spread the word about their efforts and continued needs to any and all blogs, forums, etc. as well.

Here is the contact information along with additional links for those interested:

Looks like they're doing good work.

Very much so.

Sebastian is an awesome person. All of those who are there in Haiti, on the ground doing what needs to be done in real terms on a daily basis, very much remind me of a couple who met me one day with a trailer loaded with much needed supplies and followed me into the mouth of the dragon...to help someone, anyone, no matter their station in life, no matter their race, no matter their circumstance or world view.

I have five years left to retirement and hope to vanish into that very world.

That's awesome work ~ 浪人. Makes my efforts in my local Humanist society pale into insignificance. Great work.
