Okay, my computer will be unplugged today in preparation for our move.

The movers will be here tomorrow loading most of the stuff, we will be finalizing the closure of various utility accounts and such tomorrow, and cleaning the house. We physically leave on Tuesday.

We will be taking 40 straight East for the majority of the trip, stopping to sleep in Santa Rosa, New Mexico, and Fort Smith, Arkansas (thanks to DogFriendly.com I found lodgings that will take the dogs without frustration or the need for a hundred phone calls). We should be arriving in Baldwin County around the 15th.

If anyone has any burning need to check on us, I can be reached at 888-579-1170....don't worry about me publicizing this number, anybody using it for nefarious purposes will have their ANI number (can't be blocked or faked like Caller ID numbers can be) captured and reported to me, and their messages in digital format that can be sent to law enforcement if needed.

P.S. Pesci, it's just a plane ride away, and you are welcome to visit anytime :)

S'not? What's the difference between a 3 hour car ride and a 3 hour plane ride?

Yes, I am trying to make myself feel better, cooperate please ;)

Ok... :kickcan:
I guess I have to accept that you are leaving me and the western part of the country.

Besides, I know it's going to be a great move for you both and it's exciting. Plus, I'm looking forward to live vicariously as you build your new home.
:nova:

I've enjoyed your hospitality and hope to take you up on your offer to visit! We can go to the nearest Star Trek Experience and have atomic bomb drinks again. And if there isn't a Ferengi bar nearby in the new place (you checked first, didn't you?), maybe I can be as lazy and comfy on your porch as I've been poolside in Vegas. Have a safe and fun trip! We will miss you while you are Internetless.
