photo gallery subfolders

I'm sorry I can't be bothered to look this up in the old threads. Sorry, I know I am a total pantywaste. But you all weren't doing anything constructive just now anyway. Besides this is what vm gets for ignoring my IMs. That said...

Are we able to create our own subfolders in the Travel forum? I want to make one for my Savannah trip. How do I do this? Hmmm?

Well, I got tired of waiting (it has been 30 minutes, and I see that there are at least three people on who could answer my question :fuming: ), so I am just going to start uploading, and I hope against hope that I will be able to move them into a Savannah subfolder later without having to upload them again!

Whoa. I was sure I had posted this, but it turns out I just hit preview. It's been sitting up in a window scratching its ass for an hour.

Okay, okay... Just cause my name is there doesn't mean I'm actually in active browse mode, y'know.

Anyhoo, Savannah is done. I mass-moved all of your earlier uploads into it and you should be able to play with subcategories and what not my clicking on My Stuff - Category Admin.

Is there a reason behind the 250 character limit on the photo descriptions? I'm not trying to write a full-blown essay here, but some of the photos do have a little bit of a background story. ;)

HEY! Didn't the forum used to generate like three or four random pics on the index page or the home page? That's the only reason I'm loading my pics onto FF gallery and not just putting them in my own gallery with a linky from here (which I will also do, but it's double the work this way!).

I take off for a weekend and y'all just start changing things on me? Geez!

The random images on forum index thing was a hack which broke after the Gallery upgrade on Friday. The coders are aware of this but haven't posted a solution yet. Meanwhile, if it's any consolation, vm and I can still see the random pics.
