Sure. Why not, Sauron? Start another thread. :giggle:
But I'm only gonna put ONE song here. The rest of you have to do *something* around here to earn your keep, ya know?
Creep - TLC
Everyone else's turn.

Might have to go with NIN Closer. I dunno, though. I always suck at listing favorites.

Creep - TLC
You mean Creep by STP right? ;)
I think Vasoline is one of their better songs though.

I don't know who TLC or STP are, but my favorite song of the 90's is actually:
Creep, by Radiohead.

vm,
TLC = T'boz, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez, Chili, R&B/hip hop group: "Waterfalls"
STP = Stone Temple Pilots, Creep was on their first album, IIRC
Now, per the o.p.:
hmm... too many choices ... almost anything from Tool's Aenima disc, but I particularly like H, Eulogy and Die Eier von Satan.

One??? Geez, the 90s was my heyday. How 'bout Elderly woman behind the counter in a small town, Pearl Jam, just 'cause that's my favorite title.

Oh yeah! I liked TLC, but mostly for Left Eye. I guess I blocked them out when she died.

I figured out it was Stone Temple Pilots right after I posted, but I'm not really familiar with their music. I like what I've heard, but I couldn't pick 'em out of a line-up (or hear-up).

We should compare music collections sometime, warren. I don't think I've ever found anyone else who actually likes "Lemon." Roxette I could live without, though.

Oh blimey. You know now you ask I can't think of any!! Underworld's 'Born Slippy' is rather a classic. Any anything off Bon Jovi's New Jersey or GnR's Appetite for Destruction.

Completely badass song. I even really like the Shatner cover. And I can't possibly list one, or even a list of favorites, considering that it's my favorite decade for music. So I'll have to go with fluke brilliant singles by otherwise crap bands. Some favorites, not counting bands of which I think highly, or songs that came off albums of which I think highly are:
Everclear - Fire Maple Song
Fountains of Wayne - Radiation Vibe
Brandtson - Blindspot
Mo Thugs Family - Ghetto Cowboy
Will

Wasn't there a thread about this at IIDB? Oh, wait that was depressing songs... same difference. ;)
This list reflects my current tastes and includes some songs that I didn't actually hear until after the 90's were over.
Pretty much the reason I like these songs is that they are sinister, moody or both.
