Apparently there are a lot more ways to be violent than there are ways to have sex. We need to nominate those smilies from the violence category that should have a shot at the championship. There are a lot of cute ones, a lot of mean ones, and certainly a lot of useful ones in this category. Choose wisely and carefully. You get three picks, two will get a smiley in the running. The problem is there are so many really hideous sex smilies out there. I mean, a smiley with a cock spooging on another smiley just seems so deeply wrong to me. It's like child porn or Down's Syndrome porn or something: cruel and wanton and just plain wrong.

Now smilies eviscerating other smilies, otoh, are good clean fun. (I actually had only one or two violent ones uploaded originally until bey starting baying about needing more. See? I do have delicate sensibilites. I'm just a total pushover, is all.)

Having said that, there's no way I can only nominate three in this category. I'll second vm's :spank:, and add

This li'l 'mater dodging smilie is my fave in this category. I use it when I know I've put my foot in my mouth and have it comin'. (The key word there is "know"...usually I'm oblivious.)

I'm torn. On the one hand, my first choices would have simply been seconding liv's choices. On the othe hand, I love the cinematic-style of these guys.

I decided to nominate these, as they are so rarely used. They probably won't get seconded, but they deserve a mention. I just hope that my decision doesn't adversely affect liv's choices.

Well it was my intent to limit everyone to three. This is lined up to be a big field, but I only have 10 spots in the poll. If I don't get ten smilies then maybe I will allow more, but lets stick to three to get started.

Oh, I understand and all... It's just that with such a huge collection, you could get a lot of "just nominations" from the torpid crowd 'round these parts and an insufficient number of second nominations that would qualify as "seconds" to get them in the running.

As it is, you have how many nominations and not a single smiley as made it into the running. That's a pretty good built-in limitation factor, I'd say.
