Okay.
So I have a mirror of the FF on my local server, which is where I do software modification and testing before uploading the changes. I've been using this exact set-up forever and ever and ever. However, just last night (while I was troubleshooting the HTML group permissions) the quick reply function quit working on my local copy of the forum.
I don't believe I changed anything relevant, and I have tried:
Firefox and MSIE on two separate computers, one Win2k one WinXP
Hard refreshes and manually clearing the browser cache
Closing and restarting the browsers
Rebooting the computers
Restarting Apache on the server
Rebooting the server
Repeatedly ensuring that the filesystem is identical to that on the live server
Nevertheless, quickreply works just fine for me on the live FF, but does nothing when I click it on the local copy.
I am going to hurt something if someone doesn't help me.
Please.
