Gurdur

Sorry to be so greedy for smilies, but could we have a good one for chocolate, please, one which I can also steal ? Many thanks. And how's Laocoön coming along ?

Were you thinking more bar chocolate or boxed chocolates? Laocoön is not coming along well at all, I'm afraid.

Just a smiley eating chocolate, I reckon; no need to worry abiout boxed chocs.
I guess Laocoön got hung up in a tangle.

I could only find one smiley eating chocolate and it was a little, um, rudimentary for my needs, so I made you one instead using :cheerful: as a base. Steal away.

The chocolate eating smiley ought to change to :verysick: and maybe :puke: after a reasonable period of solid chocolate guzzling.

livius drusus
04-28-2005, 10:16 PM
A reasonable period? If we're talking real chocolate lovers that would be like 2000 frames.

ceptimus

Yes. It's cool as it is. Nice work. :yup:

I find that excess chocolate, way before the feeling ill stage - maybe just two or three bars of the stuff - causes vivid dreams. I've also noticed this with cheese. Perhaps it's all high-fat foods? :chin:

Hmmm. I feel the need to start a new thread on this topic...

I think you're officially a smilie artist, liv. :appl:

Heheh. Now you need one of a smilie being buried under a pile of candy bar wrappers.

I decided that I like the chocolate lover better with a longer delay before it starts on another chocolate bar. --> http://img148.echo.cx/img148/9143/chocoluv3rj.gif (http://www.imageshack.us)

I agree, Skep. I also thought the wrapper needed lightening to differentiate it from the chocolate.

Thank you for the votes of confidence, vm, pesci and Gurdur. I still feel like a total amateur, especially compared to the great ones at deviantART, but your support is downright inspirational.

On that note, I increased the frame rate of that no chocolate moment as per Skep's excellent notion and I changed the wrapper to a nice cerulean. What do y'all think?

I was going to have special categories like that after I got through the existing categories, but I don't know if I will ever get through the existing categories. I could do something like this anyway.

An entire thread dedicated to my chocolate smiley! :chocoluv: Wow this is really cool. :rasp: Liv, you're an absolute genius!!! You have no idea how long I'd been wanting a chocolate smiley and a raspberry one!! Thank-you!

And now I know Gurdur's secret. :rasp: :chocoluv:

Would you be able to make a chocolate covered raspberry?? One that Gurdur could also steal.

livius drusus
05-16-2005, 05:41 AM
Hmm... I shall do my utmost, but it'll take me a little while. A vague idea is dawning. Meanwhile let me ask you this: if you were a smiley, what color would you be?

raspberrybullets
05-16-2005, 06:03 AM
Thanks, it's greatly appreciated! :)

It's difficult choosing a colour, everytime I think of one, another seems just as good. But I think what'd suit me best would be a smiley in swirly patterns of red, yellow and orange - maybe with some bold pinks thrown in.

Do you ask this question of everybody?

livius drusus
05-16-2005, 06:10 AM
 No ma'am. Just people I'm making smilies for.

raspberrybullets
05-16-2005, 06:32 AM
Oh no! not ma'am, sounds so...like i'm a drill sergeant! I'm just a raspberry all covered in chocolate. :)

Although, Gurdur's opinion may differ. I note that he's got a request for a girl smiley bopping the head of a big smiley - do you think he plans on using that one on me as a hint?

pescifish
05-16-2005, 09:25 AM
Any chance we could get a "yes" smiley that indicates that it is an unhappy one?

For example, if someone asked me "Gosh, pesci did you really lose one of those diamond earrings from the pair you had custom made and have been wearing 24/7 for the last fifteen years?" it's really hard to use :yup: or :yup2:

A little frown on the second one might work pretty well. Or maybe there already is an appropriate smiley but I haven't found him yet.

No, that one is in fact for warrenly.

raspberrybullets
05-16-2005, 11:50 AM
For warrenly to use, or for you to use on warrenly? I still think you'll have plenty of opportunity to use it on me though. ;)

And you mean to say that you actually do requests for other people? I thought I was special. :( I'll just have to bop you on the head.

Gurdur

For me to use on warrenly. He knows why.
I still think you'll have plenty of opportunity to use it on me though. ;)
Quite probably true.
And you mean to say that you actually do requests for other people? Occasionally, though that one was my own request.
I thought I was special.
And so you are, and so you are.

Not a thing. In fact, they'd stay so pretty and shiny anyone would be sorely tempted to pocket them rather than returning them. Hence my amazement, if ya see what I mean.

The woman handling Lost & Found did ask me if they were real diamonds (there's one 30 point and five 8-12 pointers on the one earring). I gave her my stock answer: "Supposed to be. :dunno: "
