Smiley Breakthrough!

You know, I've put countless hours into making smilies, but I've always kinda jury-rigged them because I couldn't figure out shading quite right and I couldn't figure out how to optimize without ruining those all-important tiny details. Well, I've figured it out. I just jiggled a few settings, drew a few lines in a circle and holy fuck it all suddenly came together.

Crumb, your work totally inspired me, as did the indefatiguable moral support from all quarters.

So without futher ado, my first post-revelation, entirely from scratch (except for the big chunk in the middle Skep made) smiley: :ffhug:.

You know, that exclamation point had me all kinds of confused for a while. I just kept seeing it as a really weird, ugly streamer which for some reason only appeared on the one at the end of the sentence. :blush:
