I'd boink Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell
Aisha Clan Clan from Outlaw Star
Melfina from Outlaw Star
The women from Heavy Metal
Rally Vincent from Gunsmith Cats
Lucrezia Noin from Gundam Wing
Agent Paper from Read or Die

Maybe this thread should be, "Cartoon Characters You'd Boink." We had one at work, and it was fun!
I'd boink:
Cronk from The Emperor's New Groove
Sirius Black from Harry Potter
Most of the cast of Star Trek
Kevin Sorbo's Hercules
The Gladiator

Hmmm...when I think fictional, I don't typically think of movies, as that would be the actress really.
I would say "Friday" from the Heinlein book of the same name.
and just about any female character from a William Gibson book...

Actually, I was specifically referring to the characters I'd boink, not the actors. You know, since that's what was asked and all.

Carry on with the lusting after fictional characters and what not.
7 of 9:
I lust after a fictional character. A man who massages my feet, cooks me dinner, cleans the house when he is home and has free time, enjoys opera but still likes to get into the mosh with me, will sit and talk for hours with me without mentioning bills or other aggitating crap, helps me garden, dries the dishes as I wash them, goes to the stores and shops with me without acting like he's dying- helping me pick out clothes and house stuff, is patient. Yup, this is the real fictional character I lust after.

You recall very correctly. He had a big ol' chip on his shoulder because of the way he'd been treated as a kid, and because the girl he loved married another guy (of her class and ethnicity -- a big issue in the book), but he always treated that girl and her family far worse than they ever treated him, imo.

Those selecting fictional characters on the basis of visual image of said character are not fixating on the fictional character, but the actor or actress playing the fictional character. If Anakin Skywalker had been played by Jason Alexander, would you still feel the same way?
Ensign Steve
06-08-2005, 12:20 AM
Those selecting fictional characters on the basis of visual image of said character are not fixating on the fictional character, but the actor or actress playing the fictional character.
But I'm not selecting it on the basis of visual image alone, and I'm not fixating on the actor. I would boink Anakin Akywalker, but not Hayden What's-his-name. Also, I don't think James Bond is on my list, but if he were, it'd be James Bond, and not the 100 different actors who portrayed him. Same with Bruce Wayne. I'd boink Professor Snape from the book as easily as I'd boing Professor Snape from the movie, but I wouldn't touch Dr. Lazarus or Metatron (even if he had a dick)*. Anybody who only bases boinkability on the actor and not the character never saw The Hours or Monster or The Insider.
*Snape, Lazarus, and Metatron are all played by the same actor, Alan Rickman. The jury is still out on whether I'd boink Alan Rickman, but since this thread really is about fictional characters and not actors, it doesn't matter.
If Anakin Skywalker had been played by Jason Alexander, would you still feel the same way?
If he was all broody and leather-clad and had glowing yellow eyes and kicked ass with the light saber, and he and the filmmakers could really convince me that he could actually be Anakin Skywalker, then... maybe. Anyway, the character of Anakin Skywalker is unlikely to be played by Jason Alexander, as the character of Anakin Skywalker is young and fit.

Lazarus or Metatron (even if he had a dick).

That's acceptable. I take it you got all your exposure to Star Wars by reading the stories, rather than viewing the films....right?

Hey... Jason Alexander is young and fit. So, instead of Jason Alexander, it was Rick Moranis. When he made Spaceballs, he was young and fit. Anakin can be portrayed by many different young men.

Then we are agreed that Anakin Skywalker is a fictional character, not an actor, therefore he's allowed on my list. I'm glad.

While we've got this thread up again, isn't it meant to be "bonk" rather than "boink"?
Dingfod

To us Merkins, "bonk" means to hit someone over the head, whereas, "boink" is another slang term for sexual intercourse like fuck, fucking, screw, screwing, ass, nooky, nookie, piece of ass, piece of tail, roll in the hay, shag, or hide the sausage.

Okay, according to Urban Dictionary "bonk" means sexual intercourse and "boink" means "A word that your parent's use to describe sex to you, even when you are an adult." Must be a generational thing.

If Odysseus makes any more obscene remarks about Miss Elizabeth Bennet, or if he continues to call her "Lizzy" instead of "Miss Elizabeth Bennet" I will personally introduce him to a whisty facer, and mill him down with my bunches of fives.

You're just making up words now.
No I'm not! They're all legitimate, Regency boxing slang -- as gleaned from my sister's Georgette Heyer novels.
I never have figured out the nature of the "Yard of Tin" that the non-driver in a buggy race carried. I think it might have been some sort horn, that he blew at toll gates and crossings, but I'm not sure.

I know; I was just joshin' ya. Not that I don't keep What Jane Austen Ate and Charles Dickens Knew (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0671882368/qid=1136913434/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/002-3790989-8420034?n=507846&s=books&v=glance) with me at all times when I'm reading 19th century British literature, mind you, because I totally do.
Jane Austen rarely used slang, except to place it in the speeches of characters she disliked.
OK, I admit that Catherine Morland, who was only 17, used it occasionally, to the disapproving amusement of her future husband, Henry Tilney.
Miss Austen would, doubtless, disapprove of the word "boink", especially when used in reference to one of her most beloved characters.

Not virginal, i just like them. I suppose its because lots of girls my age are virgins.
And yes Helen was the one that caused all the furore in the ancient world. Must have been pretty beautiful.

Exactly. I meant my comment as a whistful, nostlagic memory, not as an insult. Teenagers SHOULD be virginal (well, for the majority of their teenage years, anyway).

Im afraid to say that is a nice sentiment, howener no longer the case. I was at a mixed boarding school, and it seemed that everyone was up to hi jinks. Not complaining mind.
I think that virginal beauty is only something i can lust after for a wee while longer, as im not really into the macho, "Fuck a fresher" attitude that seems to interest my fellow students.
