So the godhatesfags people came to my high school today

I was there for my brothers graduation, which they had decided to protest outside of. Not sure why, my town is pretty small (near Boston, pop of 70,000 or so), but there they were. We had folks from the gay straight alliance and also just random people from around town come though, and pretty much just yelled back at them. Was good to see (though I couldn't watch much or join in, having to be at the graduation and what not).

I always wonder why these sorts of groups pick on such small gatherings. Maybe it's because they think the smaller the group size is, the less retaliation they'll have.

I kid! I think I'd have a really hard time dealing with those hatemongers. I know I'd be overwhelmingly tempted to go teach them about God's love with a baseball bat if I saw them protesting anywhere, much less at a loved one's special event. Not that I would, though. There used to be KKK rallies in Ann Arbor every year and people would show up en masse to protest. A cop once told me that's why they chose Ann Arbor. The clash with the liberal university students was guaranteed publicity. And when the mob starts getting unruly and violent (as they typically do) they just make the KKK nutjobs look like the rational ones.

Well, you said it's outside of Boston, right? Boston, MA? I'm surprised Phelps and his lot haven't been to Mass already.

Reading up Godhatesfags, I found it funny, in an interview Phelps did he screwed up the bible and completly misquoted Lev 19. On his site he also seems to claim that every swedish person on vacation in indonesia or other similar countries is looking for the child sex trade.
It amazes me people believe this stuff, but I guess some people gotta hate something.

I'm sure many british people wonder where in Lev it condemns smoking. :)
