View Full Version : What's Wrong With Me?

Looking over that Druuna site makes me repulsed. Not because she's not uber hot, not because I think nudity is wrong(you're reading the words of a man who's played in the woods in the nude), not because I think having fun having sex is wrong(I'm not a fundie religious person, or any type of religious). It's the penis in the ass shots, anus shots and other graphic porn stuff. What's wrong with me? This stuff should turn me on shouldn't it? What am I gonna do when in real life a woman sticks her anus in my face and says "Give it to me."? I wonder if it will be different because I'm the one there, not someone else with his cock jammed up a woman's Hershey Highway.....
Hon, anal sex may not ever be requested and if you are uncomfortable with it, you should never feel pressured into it if it is requested. I don't think there is anything at all wrong with you.

Some people like different things. *shrugs* Just because you don't like what somebody else does, doesn't mean there's something wrong with you.

You may as well ask what's 'wrong' with you for not liking curry, or cricket, or ballroom dancing.
You may be unusual amongst a particular population (though for the record, I don't find penis-in-ass shots particularly arousing, either) but your particular tastes can't be 'wrong'.

As above. If it repulses you, don't do it. It's merely a matter of preference.

I am also repulsed by anal sex. Just a preference, there is nothing "wrong" with you.

I was hoping you'd post, Brandi. SkepticJ, you should know that LadyShea doesn't even need explicit pics; she grosses out at the mere mention of any goings-on in the buttal region, and there isn't a thing wrong with her. (Well... Sexually anyway. ;))
Also, I have to say I think the odds of a woman shoving her ass in your face and telling you to go at it are very slim indeed. Keep in mind that porn is a bit of a bizzarro universe.

SkepticJ, anal porn doesn't turn me on, and I can't imagine enjoying anal sex.

I've always imagined that I'd like it -- I've never tried it, and the wife is not really willing, so I don't ask her for it -- but there is something that appeals to me about it. I'm not really sure quite what it is about it, but the idea is appealing to me.
Perhaps someone who has done both could tell us about the differences in sensations -- I'm obviously more interested in the male perspective, but wouldn't mind hearing about the female side.

Yeah... I've been at it 35 years and that situation has never arisen.

Assuming the OP is sincere, it represents a pretty sad state of affairs.

Maybe she's just not comfortable with the strap-on.

Exactly right. Even reading the OP triggered a gag reflex

Although I know some women who enjoy anal sex, I have never heard of them approaching it with a new partner so...crudely.

Hubby finds the thought appealing as well. According to him it's the sort of "taboo"ness of it. However, since he has no desire to be on the receiving end of anal sex, he completely understands my feelings.

Right. Porn storylines require that characters cut the chit chat and get to business. IRL, sensitive topics are not likely to be broached in such a brusque fashion.

Anal sex is an interesting thing.
Men actually have a G-spot up their anus for instance. I don't personally see why to a certain degree a male homo or heterosexual shouldn't enjoy it.
Like most things, I try them at least once if they're even remotely sane.
In my experience it produces an interesting and pleasurable sensation, however, actual penetration detracts from it so personally speaking anal sex is a no for me, however if you got a dick no more than an inch long and a quarter inch wide, I'm not necessarily adverse to that.
My husband really likes the idea and act of anal sex. I wish I could for him but it's a no. He keeps checking every so often, lol. Nope, sorry hun, it's still a no. :D
But I mean, shit is gross, tongues in that area is just like, can they really disassociate the concept of bacteria from a pleasurable act in their minds? It's just ewww.
Seeing a woman stretched in that area is just ewww.
The fact that it causes fissures and tears and can after frequency can cause some loss of bowel control is just eww.
Any changing back and forth can give a woman a serious infection of some sort, most likely yeast, ewww.
So, I mean, it's understandable why many people don't like it though I think that has to do with what's in the mind than the actual experience of it.
Now, seeing sperm or having it anywhere near my mouth or face causes me to gag. If I get it on me in some areas or on my hands I have a one minute window in which I can convince my mind it's not there until I can get it off before I start gagging. For years after my first experience giving oral sex and swallowing I was unable to even look at it without gagging.
LOL, see, if there's something wrong with you as a man there is something seriously wrong with me as a woman I guess. Am I supposed to think that sperm is just as good as one big yummy ice cream cone 'cause I'm female and that's what porn stars do? :dunno: Fuck dat.

Heh. Alright, I meant as me as the giver, not the receiver. I'm very sensitive about things going near there, and I realize it's sort of a double standard to expect a woman to want to do something that I wouldn't also do.
Also, when I think about the possible negative side effects that Sweetie mentions, it loses some of its appeal, and I can see why a woman would not want to do it. I guess that's why there's things like anal beads.

First or all, some people like anal, some don't and some don't care one way or another.
I have been confronted with brusque requests for it. Even on one night stands. Some women go crazy for it, others go crazy if you even mention it. Quite a few women are sincerely turned on by it, oral or penetration. I personally have no problems indulging in either. Hygeine is, of course, an absolute must for this kind of behavior. That means that anal sex is something you prepare for. It is definitely not a 'bizarro' slice of porn, rather it is quite common in the general population.
It is also worth pointing out that you have far more bacteria in your mouth so a fear of bacteria is somewhat irrelevant. It is also true that anal bacteria and vaginal bacteria are not all that compatible. So if you go from anal to vaginal sex, clean up first. Yeah, it may break the mood but so does a vaginal yeast infection and whatever else can result from it. If using condoms, simply switch to a new one. If oral, take another swig of that bourbon. ;)
I should point out that I love anal sex, I couldn't imagine a long term relationship with a women who didn't. But then again, I can get into most things sexual.
I don't have nearly as much experience being on the receiving end but I do have a little. The sensation is interesting and can be mentally stimulating. I find the sensation interferes with an erection, they are mutually exclusive, at least for me. It takes some practice, or more exactly, an practiced giver.

I decided to refrain from sending the post I had written.
The thought does not scare me. I even like the thought of donning a strap on, but that terrifies hubby to think I am such a deviant.

Not as described in the OP it's not. Even you noted it takes preparation and advanced warning. The spontaneous shoving of ass in face and on the spot demand for servicing is the porn world part.

It has happened to me a number of times, however, once my face is in that general vicinity I generally know if the hygeine is acceptable or not. It can be generally assumed that if such a request is made, the woman in question knows that the area is safe to proceed into. :) At least, in my experience.
I guess I just object to the term 'bizarro.'

Doesn't sound like deviant behavior to me. The problem is one of preconceived notions in many people, I suspect.

Were any of these women sober at all? :D Seriously, your experience is perfectly valid, of course, but I remain unconvinced that SkepticJ need fear that scenario as a likely one. My own experience and that of the girls and women I've known is entirely different, and keep in mind, anal sex is quite common among Italian girls as a means of fucking without messing up the all-important hymen -- or at least it was in 80s -- so I'm not unfamiliar with the topic.

Fair enough. It was a humorous reference to a Seinfeld episode which in turn was a humorous reference to Superman. I have no problem withdrawing it. So to speak. ;)

Funny thing is, that many (not all) of my experiences were with catholic women who refused vaginal sex but had no problem being fucked up the ass or giving blow jobs. *shrug* I'm puzzled but I didn't care too much at the time. I just said, "Sure..." I also realize that my experiences are not statistically significant. I also have had a rather large number of sexual encounters and, therefore, a higher probability of such things happening. I suspect that your assessment is correct and that SkepticJ need not worry... ;)

I love the idea of it...and would probably prefer giving to receiving (how christian of me). I wouldn't mind getting anything from a woman I was attracted to...and if strap on or whatever did something for them I'm all for it.

On-topic, when I was a teenager I was very opposed to the idea of pornography of any kind. I saw my first Debbi-does-dallas style porno at probably age 15 and felt physically sick afterwards. After desensitisation I am now unsatisfied if at least 3 wangs aren't entering various orrifices with another two waiting somewhere expectantly.
