View Full Version : Therapy / psychiatrist smilies
There aren't any! I was sure Freud was here, but zip on a search. Not that I really want Siggy appearing in my posts. A smilie on a couch (not hiding behind it - we've got those) with a therapist would be extremely useful, however.

:nojustno:
Skep, that smilie is in serious need of therapy itself.
I was just trying to help. Is that so wrong? :kickscan:
Normally I would have said no. But you've proved me wrong. Look: livius is in need of therapy now, too, after seeing that hideous monstrosity.

Well, tell us how you really feel about these smilies....
:P
Here's a modified static version. I like the idea of a pasty-faced therapist though. I may animate it later, if I feel like it. :)

You might try adding some textures by varying the colors. Attached is an example of what it might look like.
That's very good progress, Skep and Ymir's blood, very good. Do you feel good about your work?

Now we have an ever-multiplying team of pixel-kicking smilie artists who :control:, it's time to raise this request again.
We need a smilie signifying psychiatrist's couch.

Aww... You know I can't resist you when you get all weepy. :cheered:
So will you be mustering your force of artists to produce a good smilie? (Imagine the possibilities for a storyline...) :sniffle:

I'll make some calls, Joe snookums, but you do realize how deeply in arrears you are in terms of our quid pro quo, right doctor? :hannibal:
Once you get some therapy smilies you need a frothing at the mouth Tom Cruise smiley to scream at them.

He could drop in from the ceiling like in Mission: Impossible. :ffgiggle:

Oh Jooooooe... You'd better brush up on your vB coding, son, because MisterIngo has made your dream a reality. Actually, I think Ingo's reality is far, far better than you had ever dreamed possible.

Oh Jooooooe... You'd better brush up on your vB coding, son, because ...Praise for MisterIngo, but does this mean the 3.5 upgrade is ready to be installed on the test system so I examine the vB coding? Does it?
'Cos it's down tools until then.

lol! Those are great! HAH! How on earth can I create those speach-bubbles though? lol!
You create your own speech bubbles at http://www.mazeguy.net/balloons.html. (All the speech bubbles I used are ones already loaded here.) Or ... sometime in the future ... ceptimus :control: is going to create a bit of vbcode to build them on the fly.

I don't use it all the time - I use other browsers too. But it is very popular, like it or not, so we should ensure that the entire hoard renders correctly in it.

Great news, all! MisterIngo's :therapy: was made a Daily Deviation over at dA. This is a huge big deal because they only select a handful of pieces each day to feature in rotation on the front page. It's also cool because emotes are almost never made DDs.
Congratulations, Ingo, and Joe, go ahead and pat yourself on the back for having had the idea. :winner:
