that is just fucking weird, just because something is different does not make it cool.
Interesting. Not as good as other stuff though.
It doesn't beat Enigma's horns (http://www.web-ho.com/Images/enigma-solo.jpg) Which I have heard he plans to remove the skin on and sharpen when he get's the finished (it's bone under the skin created by certain calcium implants.)

The forehead inflation is my proudest contribution to the wacky world of body and performance art.
I am the only person in the world to do this!!

I agree, bey - just because it's different, does NOT make it cool.

/me shrugs.
What's the point of tattoos or body piercings? How is this really any different?

Body modification is an strange subculture. I honestly find his brands more interesting than his inflato-head. And what's that on his chest that looks like a microphone embedded in his sternum? Are they other saline injections as well? He's quite an attractive fellow, however. Well, he is what he smiles and has eyebrows.

I think its cool. People start with any type of modification (tatoos, piercings, brands, etc.) to be "different" (presumably) and when enough people decide to be different it becomes mainstream. So this guy has moved on to something that is truly different, good for him. Not to say that "different" is necessarily cool, but if different is this guy's goal, then he achieved it, and that is cool. Anyway, piercings, tatoos, and brands have been around for ages in some cultures, but AFAIK this guy is the first one to come up with this inflating thing. Good for him, I guess. again

He's an attention whore, plain and simple. Why else would one do something so silly?

Because it feels good? Because he likes the look of it? Because he wants to for various other reasons?
Granted, you could argue he's an attention whore (though, possibly, a valid one) for displaying it like other bodyart in public, and being a model. But not just for doing it.

You do something like that you've gotta be doing it to make people look and stare. Attention whore is accurate.
I guess that makes almost every painter an attention whore too.
Only difference is the canvas they used.

Is there something wrong with being an attention whore? Isn't this a reason for anyone to become a performer of some kind?

Yeah my take would be of course he's an attention whore, but I don't see anything wrong with that really. I've never understood the appeal of being a self-made circus freak personally, but whatever floats your boat. Which isn't to say I don't like tats and piercings because I think a lot of both are aesthetically appealing. It's the people who go out of their way to make themselves look ridiculous (look ma, I can wrap my ears around my head!) that I don't get. Gotta be something broken in that psyche if you ask me.
