Hiya princess. What a lovely surprise to see your name on the registered users list. Is cooking school as wonderful as you expected? I suggest you get right over to the Food forum and show RevDahlia how it's done.

Welcome to FF. :welcome2:

:princess: + :chef: = Bree :yup:

Imagine my surprise, perusing this forum and seeing my name! And what's better, having liv call me "princess" again; I've missed it!

Cooking school is everything I imagined and more. I love everything about it - even those tremendously unflattering drawstring checkered pants and the double-breasted chef's coat that is difficult to button over this double-breasted chest.

This is a great place - snaps to both of you!

Thanks!

I can't wait until you start sharing your cooking expertise with us. :)

You know, in a perverse way, I really dig those nasty chef's outfits. Sure, nobody looks human-shaped in them, but everyone looks chef-shaped, and that's just plain cool.

Thanks for the props, Bree; I'm thrilled you like it here. Now, would you rather start an adventures in culinary school journal, or will it be an article about one particularly delicious moment? What's that you say? Can't you do both? Aww... Sure you can! Anything for my princess. :D

/me basks in the brilliance of Princess Bree's cooking knowledge, in the hopes that he'll be able to make his cooking even more delicious, instead of merely edible and (probably) non-toxic.

Here's a quick bit of post-slutting to see if my new sig works...

Oops, I guess sig changes are retroactive...oh well, I guess I can still use this post to declare that my profile pic is displaying correctly...and once you stare at it, the ugliness and repugnant horror will make your brains melt out of your ears and your eyes burn out of their very sockets!!! :muahaha:

Weeelll....maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration.. Maybe.

Funny you should say that, liv - we are required to keep a journal of our time at school (to be turned into the school upon completion of the program) and I have taken a leaf from d's book and started a blog, more for the sake of convenience rather than thinking people actually want to know the drudgery of things like cleaning walk-ins and scrubbing pots and pans.

For anyone who's interested, here's the URL: http://meltedbrie23.blogspot.com/

Holy shit: 32 knife cuts?! That's soooo cool. How did the pasta making go?

Heh, that's in Episode II. Basically it went OK, although my little ball of dough didn't come together like everyone else's, even though we used the same exact procedures and ingredients. I hate being the exception. Oh, and this annoying kid kept touching me and I finally told him if he didn't knock it off I'd kick him in the 'nads.

You should have told him you're not on the menu (on second thoughts... that line has probably been done to death and its less... forceful... than threatening his nads)

Anyway hi Bree. Good to see you. This is my obligatory community posting :) because since FF started I've hardly posted at all either here or at HH (I'm too busy gobbling up the high scores in the arcade)
