jasmine, bougenvilla, gardenia, water lily, or -- on most days, a fucking huge prickly pear cactus in the middle of nowhere.

I'm a morning glory, sometimes entertaining, but usually just a general nuisance and impossible to get rid of.

Conforming to my earlier quote:
Oregon Blackberry.
Prickly. Difficult to eradicate. It provides protection for bunnies. And it produces a tasty, if tart, fruit.

Hehe. Alright, sue me, I haven't gotten much sleep the last three days so I'm a little loopy.
Night blooming jasmine? :chin:
I like to think I'm akin to Aloe Vera. Prickly on the outside full of healing balm on the inside. If I am not like this plant I aspire to be. I like being prickly on the outside.

Yeah... I can see that.
My star jasmine is presently in full bloom and covers an entire arbor (http://www.freethought-forum.com/forum/gallery/showimage.php?i=939&c=38) of 8' tall x 15' long x 3' deep with glossy evergreen leaves and the present little white flowers. In profusion. My jasmine blooms day and night, and the best days are warm nights with very little breeze. Just enough of a breeze to waft the scent aloft and abroad without dissipating it too much. A faded teak garden bench is set in the midst of this, where two people can sit comfortably and envelope themselves in the scent of jasmine....It's heady. It's erotic.

I'm a female ginkgo tree. Male ginkgo trees are aesthetically pleasing and imposing. Female ginkgo trees are also aesthetically pleasing and imposing, but every once in awhile they dump a huge load of ugly squishy fruits that smell horrible and irritate everyone.

Oh wait someone already went for venus flytrap.
What's wheat grass?
livius drusus

It's a soft, strong emerald green grass which grows equally well on prairies and in window boxes. It's known in health food circles as the ultimate energy source when juiced.
I don't know if I'm a fair analogy in any way. I just really love grass, and that's the nicest grass of them all. (Except for maybe rye, which is also drop dead gorgeous.)

Could you fashion a crown from it?

/me grins.
Why yes, eldar. Yes, you most certainly could. A great crown, too, because the blades are long and durable.
