How do I get anyone's attention who might be willing to chat with me for a few minutes?

I'm in chat right now and will be for like 15 minutes or so.

Wanna chat?

Alas I was not there when you posted this. But hope to catch you sometime anyway :)

Sorry, Fence. Maybe we can make another run for it sometime soon?

Thanks livius drusus and MooseIBe.

Maybe next time.

Last night, viscousmemories and MegaDave showed up and I had a great time.

I was also wondering about how to get anyone's attention if I wanted to chat later. Like where would I post to get someone to join me in chat.

Anyway, it was really fun last night and I hope to do it again soon with all of you present.

I've always posted clarion calls here in the Watering Hole just like you did. I'm glad you were able to get your chat on. :yup:

I suggest arranging meeting times. Like 9 PM EDT or whatever. Be sure to specify the timezone, because our members are spread across across several of them.

Great idea! :yup:

And you're the one that started me on this escapade. I had seen your handle in chat and logged on. Apparently you had already left and your username was still showing. So I stayed on and hoped others would show up. Luckily for me, they did.

I hope to see you there as well next time. :)

I mostly stay at home these days, but I recall when my member was spread across several time zones.

That's a bad mental picture. Weren't you worried about your member getting run over when it was spread over several time zones? :yikes:

I went down the street to the 24-hour grocery. When I got there, the guy was locking the front door. I said, "Hey, the sign says you're open 24 hours." He said, "Not in a row!"

I was more disturbed by the image of his member spread across a map of the US. The question is, was he aroused by the red states or the blue states?

Yes it was. Unfortunately, I can't chat from work - which is where I am now.
