A pastor-inspired project that's anything but evangelical... (http://www.nytimes.com/2004/08/29/theater/29RUSH.html?8hpib)

That's hilarious, Bree.

MAGGIE ROWE is blocking the abortion scene. Lying on the operating table, the comedian Sarah Silverman, in the role of the Abortion Girl, props herself up to receive notes. "When they hold the fetus up," Ms. Rowe instructs, "you really need to look at it and then scream, `That's my baby!' " :D

I think it is interesting, and I wonder what it would be like to go through a HellHouse with people who aren't there to be convinced by it (like everyone usually is). Sometimes I'm really glad that the small church I grew up in had no youth group and no encouragement to go to the local HellHouse.

I doubt my parents would have allowed it, in any event.

These have been around a long time. These "hells" being Christian based hells...like drink and die...and go to hell. Have an abortion and die....and go to hell. Use drugs and die...and go to hell. Celebrate Halloween traditionally and die....and go to hell. Vote Democratic and die....and go to hell. Very conservative, Bible thumping, right wing, evangelical stuff. It might be funny to go on one now as an adult if the whole idea of it didin't piss you off too much! :glare:
