There I was happily opening a nice bottle of rioja, just pulling the foil from the top of the bottle, ready to insert the corkscrew and wait for the satisfying sound of the cork being pulled from the bottle when ....

I work with big rolls of paper daily, and when I first started this job I cut myself on it every damn time I changed the roll. Fuck-Ing-Ouch! I'm way more careful now.

will try to avoid talking about the stupid, oddly shaped serrated bread knife I cut myself with every damn time I use it, but still have not got rid of. :doh:

Its not quite a paper cut, but I do notice that many times when I open a new bottle of soda, the plastic cap retainer thingy (I don't know the technical name) sometimes has a sharp edge which has cut into my skin, leaving a nice cut.

You would think they could come up with something a little less prickly to sabotage one's cola enjoyment...
