Our newest registered user brokenboulevard (http://www.freethought-forum.com/forum/member.php?u=668) (can you even stand the cuteness of her avatar?) is yet another fine emoticonist who has agreed to be added to the FF roster. Not only has she allowed permission for her work to be uploaded to the hoard, but she has made one of the most frequently requested smilies of all time just for us.

So without further ado, please welcome:

:pigback:

:glomps:

:snogsuck:

:darn:

:scream:

:hugpop:

:needles:

:airgeet:

And our commissioned smiley such a long time in the offing:

:gooduse:

Thank you, BB, for doing us so, so right.

Fine and worthy additions to the menagerie, one and all. I just love how each and every smiley hoarded by liv elevates the collection to greater levels.

And the commmissioned "Good smiley use" will only add to the post counts of many a poster in this forum.

So true, eldar. And think of the possibilities in the smiley stories and communicate with smilies only threads. :fantasy:

They are all fabulous smilies.

I love the I hate needles particularly.

Not too bad with needles but I just love the way they both run back again, after the initial chase.

Ohh, I see. Yeah, that's adorable. It's like an early Chaplin movie or Keystone cops or Benny Hill without the tits. :yup:

Besides the good smilie use, I really like the primal scream. These are really awesome. Thanks brokenboulevard.

Zikes is too modest to say anything about how he first introduced BB to emoticoning. You're the ultimate guru, Zikesy. :peace1:

Umm. . . you meant cute little bluebirds/songbirds right?

That whole bat thing messes it up for me.

But I guess you can see bats if you want. :sigh:

:welcome3: brokenboulevard to :ff:. That is a great collection of smilies and you have done a great job with "good smiley use"!
And think of the possibilities in the smiley stories and communicate with smilies only threads.
Someone needs to bring one of these back from the dead. :undead: Oh maddog! :yell:

I can't believe you'd use that green monstrosity to welcome a brilliant emoticonist. It's bad enough with non-emote geniuses, but with the likes of BB it's just downright humiliating. Oh how I curse the day I ever let his ugliness cross the hoard's threshhold.

Attached is a frame that shows the flying creatures. They appear to be far more batlike in the wing structure. Observe the one shown against the foliage to the left and above the smilie. Very batlike.

I admit that two of the flyers are white. This is however not evidence against them being bats. Albino bats are very rare, but do exist.

You are more than free to see them as birds, but I feel justified in my interpretation that they are bats.

What wonderful emoticon stories! I haven't been able to see all of them all the way through yet, but, then again, I've got 3 Netflix movies I haven't watched for 5 months either.

Beautiful work, brokenboulevard, thank you! And yeah, your avatar is very fun.

That made me laugh so much... :D They could very well be bats. Or birds... I like to think of them as pidgeons, as they are in a freaky, poop-covered catergory of their own. :giggle:

There's not much more I can say really.

They are all so great but :scream: probably takes the Oscar (for animated short).

one of the most frequently requested smilies of all time

:gooduse:
Frequently requested? By who?

I'm glad BB is getting some love for this little guy, because she was apparently operating under the delusion that the trees were crappy! Can you believe that? I told her they were perfect emotitrees.

Frequently requested? By who?

That'd be you, Joseph dear. Here's (http://www.freethought-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?p=65512) the first time, but I'm not even going to try track down all the times you've asked for it.

Considering the abstract nature of the smilies, the trees work perfectly. Otherwise it would create an effect similar to an animated character drawn on a 'real' backdrop, quite jarring.

That albino micro-bat (http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/english/doc/2004-03/22/content_316855.htm) is the cutest thing!
