Will you accept a euphemism?

Only if it's a good one :).

Based on what sounds good right now...

To drink, a good bottle of Merlot.
Hot sourdough bread with butter.
Caesar salad, heavy on the anchovy.
Filet mignon.
Baked potato with sour cream and chives.
Caramel cheesecake for dessert.

It would depend on my mood. Right now, I could really go for a wienerschniztel with a twist, baby field green salad with oil & white wine vinegar, garlic and parsley potatoes, and either a white chocolate and banana tart, or a classic crême brulée.

Barbera d'Alba with the meal, Moscato d'Asti with the dessert, lit Sambuca with 3 mosche just to go flaming into that good night.

Oh yeah, baby. That's a meal worth dying for.

If I die tomorrow it's going to be because of the food I've been eating for the last 15 years, so I would have trouble coming up with my dream meal without feeling self-destructive.

OK, I'll make it easier for you. You're going to be strapped into the electric chair and your eyes are going to fry like Chicken McNuggets.

How about a lightly-cooked, moist omelette (I won't be worrying about salmonella) with bacon and feta, with a crisp chardonnay, followed by the hottest curry I can stand (I won't be worried about the ring of fire afterwards) - a whole range of dishes: butter chicken, chicken madras, paneer jalfrezi, lamb vindaloo with side dishes of sag aloo, chana masala and buttery garlicky naan bread (won't be worrying about garlic breath), washed down with a robust cabernet sauvignon and followed by a brandy or several (hangover? Hah!).

That's easy then. The liver of my accuser. :chomp:

Bon appetite everyone...it'll be a helluva BBQ...*snickerin*

Otherwise, if it's a non-violent death and I had prior warning, I'd have me a huge Porterhouse steak, medium rare. A baked potato with lots of butter and sour cream...or maybe a sweet potato with butter and cinnamon. Brocolli and cheese. Morton Bay Bugs. And at least three massive lobsters.

Don't even ask me about dessert.

And to top it off...a wafer thin mint... :yup:

A great deal of enjoying a meal is in the atmosphere-- I am indecisive as what I'd like my last meal to be--

A barbeque on my porch with my kids-- we eat crab-stuffed mushrooms, or chips and guacamole, lobster and steak for the meat eaters with some type of greens. For dessert, sundaes with chocolate, caramel, marshmallow and cherry toppings.

A five star Parisian Bistro-- caviar, lobster bisque, some fabulous entree with a spicy regional cabernet, a dark chocolate soufflé-- a stroll through Paris at sunset--a bubble bath later with my lover

My own kitchen-- oops better get to that meeting across town-- and finish this later.
