Unfortunately, the server has been down for the best part of 24 hours .. there is an explanation for this (that doesn't have anything to do with me .. go and slap the people who host the forum ;)) but I won't bore you with it :D. Anyway they promised it would be back up today with no loss of data, but I dunno what time that will be .. I will keep you posted :)

I am thinking of setting up a refugee forum somewhere, possibly the Wardrobe (hey, John owes me one ;)) whilst this gets sorted out but I'll leave it another day or so until I know for definite how long it's gonna be before we're back online.

Just in case anyone's wondering, what happened is that someone set up an illegal site on the server my forum is hosted on and the FBI have taken the entire server down whilst they investigate. Sigh.

Perhaps we'll see a surge of new recruits once it is up and running again; it is taking so long to get it up because they need the time to read through the topics first.

Discussing Europe would give them a nice break from their normal environment, wouldn't it?

LOL I don't see what interest my or any of the other forums on that server should have for them though .. only the illegal one.

Isn't it an American server?

I can think of several comments that probably broke a few laws in some countries, perhaps also international treaties. Maybe Brad Pitt took offense at the Highland cow reference?

Or perhaps the atheist - C.S.Lewis-fan mixed community was just too idealistic to withstand Real Life? Like communism; a good idea, but human nature will take its course, and the very site imploded with improbability?

Yeah they HOPED it was going to start working on Saturday too :(.

I am arranging temporary emergency accomodation for us though it's likely to be on a Christian forum ;). You all SHALL be converted!
